We visited this place twice and had a lovely meal both times. The restaurant benefits from its quiet position in pretty gardens.Nobody drags you off the street as they don't have to as the quality speaks for itself!

We had an excellent meal here one night, both having starters of garlic mushrooms followed by mixed souvlaki(huge!).My husband had the lamb which simply fell off the bone it was so tender. We also tried the rose house wine served in a jug and found it to be delicious also.Peeking around, I noticed that everyone else's meals looked equally impressive too!

We ate here one evening as had noticed its pleasant 'off the road' situation in passing..and the fact that it always seemed to be doing good business.I tried an asparagus with cheese starter as something different and my huband had large garlic prawns "au naturel' complete with heads on.Then I tried a t-bone steak which was nicely cooked and presented. The gardens are well kept and the manager/owner personally greeted each new customer, whether child or adult, as they came in.

Having walked past a few times, we decided to try this restaurant set in a large impressive looking garden.I had a feeling it would be good even though probably more expensive(which it was).My husband and I both ate lamb Zakynthian style, with herbs and olive oil.The lamb was very tender although I had quite a large bone in mine whereas husband seemd to fare better meat wise. However, the vegetables were fresh (unlike some places where you know they are from a packet) and we found the service friendly, but maybe a bit of a longer wait but hey, we had nothing to rush for anyway. An added bonus for any cat lovers are the two large felines named Jimmy and Martin which tend to steal the show as they are distinctly different to the usual slightly built local cats!
