Got glasses of cola poured from a warm bottle which could be bought from a shop.
Good service and football game was entertaining on a cloudy afternoon

Went on a trip with Delphini Voutirakos Cruises tours booked at a kiosk in Kalamaki.
We booked a tour to Olympia but at 7.15 am on the morning a repsesentative showed up and told us our tour was cancelled. We were asked if we would like to take their tour around the island instead and we agreed.
Later that morning we were stuck floating in Zante harbour for 2 and a half hours as a technical problem had caused the boat to break down. Once the boat was fixed we asked to get off and we were not allowed to.
The tour was cut short and we did not get to do as was advertised on the company brochure.
The weather was bad that day and if the captain knew this as most captians should why was the trip not cancelled and re arranged for the next day given all these variables? I am sure that we would have enjoyed a day in Zante town, made our own way home and enjoyed the boat trip another day.
We lost a day of our holiday and were very angry as was everyone else who sailed that day. There was people complaining at every stop off on the bus trip home.

Ate here early in our holidays and got a fantastic meal if a litte expensive. Food very good so expense not an issue.
AT end of our holiday I got the fantastic Minestrone soup agian. Best I've ever tasted.
Then the place let itself down. I got over cooked callamari in a pan of olive oil and my partner got undercooked mushroom pasta in a pan of olive oil.
Not a good meal at all.

Had two fantasitic meals here. Food very good and waiters work hard.
Amaryllis Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Stayed for two weeks here late May 05.
Hotel shop and pool bar good value for money. Service and quality of food at the pool bar excellent.
The rooms are very clean and spacious. Good mix of couples and families with Kids.
Aircraft noise and aircraft can be annoying as Hotel very close to the main runway but you get used to it and quite ammused by it sometimes.
Only complaint was that some families did'nt keep too close an eye on their kids when they were playing around the pool and in the bar at night.

In reply to Andy. The hotel is good and there are many other pools which you would be able to go to during the day.
All the pools I saw were open to all.
