My husband and I are going to Laganas on 6th May for two weeks and would like to know if anyone can recommend a few really nice restaurants which offer good Greek food at reasonable prices - not too far away from the Denise Beach Apartments? Can anyone also recommend a good car hire company in Laganas?

My husband and I are going to Laganas on 6th may for two weeks and when we went to Corfu for the same two weeks in 2003 the weather was absolutely fantastic during the day but it got a little chilly in the evenings so we were glad we took our fleeces. Was it the same in Zante?

We like friendly staff serving good Greek food which is not too expensive - can anyone recommend some restaurants close to the Denise Beach Apartments?

Does anyone know if there is a ferry to Kefalonia which carries cars or is it just for foot passengers?
