The Levante Speed Boat Trip with Captain Spiros was excellent... the children enjoyed being able to "drive" the boat and Cpt Spiros was the star of the trip!! the blue caves are good, the beach with the shipwreck on is stunning! the little taverna is ok and the location of it is fab! glad we dragged ourselves off our sun beds to go! Ian the Levante Rep is excellent too and so of course was Yannis, Cpt Spiros assistant!

Second year we have visited this hotel and nothing has changed..the staff are just as friendly and helpful, all areas are spotless! Friends joined us this year and were equally impressed and are planning a return visit. George & Anna are lovely hosts and ensure your stay is a good one. For evening meals outside the Hotel try Sweet Revenge..delicious crepes and also Trente Nova. The Boathouse on the beach is equally as good. MacDonalds has closed down by the way! The new hotel nextdoor to the Phoenix does not in anyway spoil the location.

dont let the airport put you off visiting Zante you will be missing out on a beautiful island. The warm sea and warm welcome you get out weighs the waiting and queuing on arrival and departure. If more than one flight lands..just check the carousel if its not your flights luggage go straight through and stand out in the summer sun! on the way back take plenty to drink if you have to queue - or dont get there too early!! at least this year the departure "lounge" had been cleaned up a bit and not so many flies were about! at least you cant get lost or confused in Zante Airport!!
