We went to this restaraunt four times last summer during a two week holiday. The meal was the best we had, the service was superb and the price was amazing. The waiters spoke fantastic English and treat myself, my husband and my 7 year old daughter magnificently. I got news of exam results whilst we were there and the waiters heard my good news - a free bottle of wine appeared at the table along with an ice cream for our daughter. To sum up in one word BEAUTIFUL! (To the owners wife who was pregnant at the time hope everything went well!)

To Suzanne Bilclough - You are supplied with a rock hard fold out chair for your child. My daughter was 6 at the time and refused to sleep on it as it was so uncomfortable. Otherwise the apartments are clean, simple and basic. Pool is quite deep - there is a baby pool but you will be lucky if you can fit into it with your child. It's tiny! Good pool down by the beach which is cheap and very clean - sorry can't remember the name of it. If you want a good meal go to the Erato - food delicious. Must meet Freddy the dog at the Athina he's the one tied to the kennel day in day out. Overall the Athina is a good base for your holiday I recommend you take a torch as access is unlit. Have a good time.
