Just got back from 2 weeks in Tsilivi - what a cool resort! And Magdalenas is by far the best bar out there. Dennis will serve you anything from an amazing cocktail, to a flaming black sambuca or just a nice cool beer. My friend Amy and I spent many a night in the bar till the small hours of the morning - you can't fault the friendliness of the staff and there always seems to be an atmosphere perfect for making new friends. Tarquin the DJ will play whatever you request, but watch out for his quizes - they're tough! Oh and beware of the Karaoke nights ... some of the staff "sing" (if you can call it that! - sorry girls!) You can't visit Tsilivi without paying a trip to Magdalena's - Dennis & Tarquin, you're the best - thanks for a great holiday. Corinna

This is a true find. The food was delicious and well priced. The Greek musicians were great, they went round to each table several times to serenade people, and later in the night sat down with us and played/sang while we played the maracas which the waiter had brought over! It's at one end of the Tsilivi strip heading back toward Zakynthos town, but well worth heading up that way.

My friend Lucy and I went on the morning trip of Thurs 28th August. Cpt Spiros let us sit at the very front of the boat while we were whizzing along ... it was fantastic we felt like Charlie's Angels girls with our hair blowing in the wind (except for when we were deafened by Spiros blowing the horn!!) The trip visited Shipwreck Beach, the Blue Caves and a lovely fishing port where we stopped for lunch and a swim. Spiros tried to get one unfortunate gentleman to propose to his girlfriend in the restaurant ... we all looked round in anticipation as the "lucky" guy knelt down on one knee and asked...not if she would marry him ... but if he could have some of her potato salad! Oh well, better luck in your matchmaking next time eh Spiros?!!

This was a tru;y fantastic trip and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

I went on "Baywatch Day" (Thurs 4th Sept). A fantastic day out, had a fab time, even though it was a bit hairy out at the Devil's Mouth where a valant rescue attempt was made (well done to Lee & Paul). The trip was packed full of things to do, trekking for the best view of shipwreck beach (avoiding the dodgy viewing platform!), swimming in the sulphur sea, trying to eat an ice-cream while going off-road and a little bit of wine tasting to top it all off. Thanks to Lee who was a fab driver, kept us all laughing.
