Red Lion - (Bars in Argassi)

Steve L  (04 June 2002)

Cheapest draught beers for miles, friendly welcome and a very Brittish area. Latest gimmick in most bars is large video screens and blockbuster movies being shown(Free of charge)

The Factory - (Bars in Argassi)

This bar is different to all the rest, louder, cleaner and more fun from early evening to early morning

Target Bar Taverna - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Steve L

This was one of our favourite locations,in the day restfull and a 5* view, in the evening some of the friendliest greek dancers on earth, all very young and energetic, Denis is the only one I could pronounce.Look out for the signs in the Town they offer free transport to their Panoramic position, just a few minutes away. They even put some Rock & Roll on for us especially, so we could then show off, they loved it and so did we!

Greek Night - (Zante Excursions)

Steve L

If your in Argassi avoid Tour Opperators excursion for a Greek night out, I wish we had, we paid 25 euros each, for average dancers who just tollerated our poor Greek dancing. By far the best place was the TARGET BAR especially SAT.PM.Free wine,Free transport, set menu 12 euros each, and better atmosphere.

Argassi Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Steve L

This is not a Beach resort, however there are some very nice areas on the front try Hotel Memossa, the pool and grounds are open to everyone and right upto the beach, with good food and friendly staff, be prepared to pay for sunbed with shade by the pool, inexpensive and worth it, Great ommeletts.

Admiral Hotel - (Accommodation in Argassi)

Steve L

We enjoyed it very much and was pleased we chose this one of the sister Hotels,as it catered less for the children, I assume the Captain's would be over run by the little angels in high season. The staff appeared to care and and tried to make your hols fun, thanks to Sam and Ulrica xx and Zebastian.Nice rooms, with a great view on the upper floors.
