| tony what you saw (run over) was probably a balkan whip snake not venomous.Zante has about 7 snakes only one is a adder .we dont have vipers on the island.We have a selection of lizards the biggest been the green larceta viridis.... we have bufo toads ....krokodilus geckos ....leopard snake....fourline rat snake.....and others ...best book is from a museum only in greek unforetunately goylandri...next time visit me at the reptile house i'll have plenty to show u.....
Craig hope all is fine ..let me remind u ....u only worked with me not even a full season told u to be careful on the motor but like many tourists u ended up with souvenirs (scars) going back home hope all goes well for u.

hello everyone.just to notify you the reptilehouse in laganas has moved to tsilivi on the road to caravel.Last minute arrangement so we should be opening about the 20th of may ,the games will be there also trampolines playareas etc..sorry to everyone for the incovenience .this is the owner mary papadatos.

hi this is mary the reptilehandler .Some information to terrie the snakes called a milk snake grows to 3 to 4 feet & to samantha e.t. is a spiny tail agama lizard grows to 3 feet.thank you all for your good comments & if you have any pictures please add them on this site also if you have of my daughter mary-angela i wil be grateful.hope to see you again. |

| HI THIS IS MARY THE OWNER OF THE REPTILE HOUSE.WE WILL BE OPEN TILL THE LAST TOURIST LEAVES THE ISLAMD...SO YES PROBABLY TILL THE END OF OCTOBER.MANDA I'M SO SORRY THAT SOMEONE TRIED TO SELL YOU SNUFF OR WHATEVER ,BUT THAT PERSON HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY BUSNESS WHICH HAS BEEN RUNNING 10 YEARS & NEVER COME ACROSS A COMPLAINT LIKE THAT.THE ONLY EXPLANATION I CAN GIVE IS THAT IN A TOURIST RESORT LIKE LAGANAS ANYONE CAN BE ANYTHING SINCE TOURISTS ARE HERE FOR 1 OR 2 WEEKS ONLY AND NEVER LEARN THE TRUTH ..SO DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS NEXT TIME.THANKS. |
