Just got back from zante and have to say alex apartments are in the prime location. 1min from the beach and only a couple of mins from the main strip. although the strip club is slightly further so get a taxi. (lol) its off the main road so you dont get all the noise all night.
Did get bite big time the first few nights from the mosiqutoes so its advisable to get something to splat um.

hiya kat.
you do have to walk along the beach to get to ur hotel only about 300m or so, u might have to carry your suitcases that far as well depending on what time u arrive, so be prepared.. hope you have a gud time. dean
