Just down the road 300mtrs is a great little supermarket "Palataki" lovely people here too. For couples looking for a traditional Greek restaurant try the Apolafsi Taverna just down the side road from the supermarket. We had the best meal ever experienced on Zante in this little Taverna. Went diving with Adventure early in the season in May and they didnt have the big dive boat on the water at the time as its a bit slow in May too many dive centres not enough divers. However going out on the smaller boat with other divers and a couple snorkeling was great fun and helped break the ice with people youd never met. They are a Dutch company but everyone i met spoke perfect english which was good as i did French & Italian language at skool.. .. After having a look over a few other dive centres i chose Adventure as they were real friendly and spoke diving and not money first. Can't remember the name of the boat "captain" but he was a great fisherman and gave me a quick lesson in free diving for octopus with just weights, mask and a small net.. Top bloke.. ..
