I agree with Jan. Sakis, Anna and the rest of the family couldn't do enough to help. I returned from a week at Mon Repos on Sunday after also being there a week in May ans 2 weeks last September, where I am sure I met Jan and her hubby Paul from Liverpool. ( if it is you, hope you got the wee note we left for you behind the bar)
The apartment are clean and are cleaned as stated in brochures. They are basic but who goes on holiday to stay in anyway?!! As for Sakis being anything but nice, what rubbish! I can sincerely say that if he was anything but nice to anyone then they probably brought it on themselves as I have seen him dealing with the most awkward of customers with a smile on his face!! ( and if anyone took time to speak to the man apart from ordering drinks(or complaining!) then you would see that he is a very popsitive and happy man and his outlook on life is admirable)
Also, the water is optional, if you grudge the 8 euros then it is your choice to carry the 18 litres back to the apartments in the heat.
I have been to Mon Repos 3 times in little over a year and have found nothing to complain about except having to return to boring work!!
Please dont let Keiths comments put you off going to Mon Repos as you have to experience the familys kindheartedness to believe it.
I may be bias now but i love this place and cant wait to see everyone again next time
