Vakhos (Bakkus) is a more traditional style taverna with lots of excellent Greek dishes. We tried amongst other things, Greek Meze, lamb Kleftiko, beef Kleftico (rib-eye steak in it), roast chicken, plus various starters. Enjoyed the lot. The house red isn't too bad this year, hard to beat 3 euros for 1/2 kilo. We found Mario to be a friendly host and the rest of the staff were good as well. We visited three times, so it must have been good. Looking forward to the next time... Worth a try.

Friendly faces in this restaurant! Since steak is the speciality, we had the t-bone, which was very good, and the Pacific Island sirloin, which had a pineapple and sweet chilli sauce - very tasty, must try this at home! If you want a steak, definitely worth a visit.

Mama Taz and the folks are great. The Taz jumbo burger is the one!
