Oniro Studios - (Accommodation in Tragaki)

Niki &

We have just got back from the Oniro Studios, where Nikos has been constructing their own website for next year. The holiday was absolutely fantastic, our second time at the apartments. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, wine tasting before the Kampi Sunset, drinking cocktails, scuba diving etc.... Last year, we even saw dolphins on the Keri Cave boat trip as well as the turtles. For such a small island, there is plenty to do, we highly recommend Popeyes , where the waiters are lovely and the food is plentiful! (as anywhere in Greece, a meal for one is like a meal for three!!!)

Nikos and Costas, well, what can I say? Costas spent his time trying to get Paul drunk, I dont advise the Costas Special Cocktail, measures of alcohol seem to be non existent in any bar in Zakynthos and Costas isnt happy unless there is a tony bit of pinapple juice and the rest mainly mixed spirits!!!

We will definately be going back next year, they cant get rid of us now!!

St Nickolas Beach Diving School - (Diving in Zante)

Niki &

I really didnt think that I would like Scuba Diving, how wrong was I?? It was fantastic!!! Paul is a pro at it but had to do all the talks as he didnt have his PADI number with him. It took me a while to get used to the whole breathing thing, but I had a great time. The couple we went with really enjoyed it aswell, and one of them could not swim! I would recommend it to anyone, someone said to us, 'You only get 20 minutes down there, its not very good' to which I asked them if they had actually done a dive, their answer was no, so they had no need to comment, it was brilliant, 20 minutes is plenty of time to see the fish and get used to it if it is your first time, I really enjoyed myself - so dont let anybody put you off, it is well worth it and there are about 5 experienced divers checking all the important things - like how much air you have - i forgot to look at the guage, so dont think I would trust myself to do it on my own!!!!! The divers are lovely, although John, who was our leader, was a bit of a joker - he told us the scuba diving took place on the other side of the island and 'almost' had us going - the fact that Paul had done it there the day before meant that me and Paul knew we were at the right place.

I think the only thing that I didnt like were 2 girls were down with our group and i had to keep stopping cos they constantly were getting in everyones way - they werent looking where they were going and kepy cutting me up! It would have been nicer with just the 4 of us, but there is always next year ;-)
