Back at the top again - Rescue was more popular last year - and definitely the place to be in Laganas this summer. Hi to Michelle, Sasha, Zoe, Gerthe, the Sandhurst Girls and all the others met between 21st & 27th June, plus the Zero's Crew (Angelo, Takiss, Matt etc) for providing a great time. Right on the beach, this restaurant gets missed by a lot of people who use the road behind to get between their accomodation and night-life. Prices are actually a little cheaper than restaurants on the main road or the Kalamaki Road, but the view is much superior. Ideal setting for a romantic meal - food is good, wine is good, service is good. I have been going here since 1998, and have yet to be let down.

Poorly cooked and presented food. Poor wine. Apathetic service. Afraid imposing exterior and slightly higher than average prices do not make this a good restaurant. But because it is in a good position on the main road, it is always packed, which makes others assume that it is good. Don't be fooled. You'll get a much better traditional Greek meal from most of the tavernas & restaurants down on the beach.

Too British for me to eat evening meal there - when in Greece eat as the Greeks! However I can vouch that their Full English Breakfasts are good quality and good value. Seems to be a good place for families though, as it was always packed with the same faces night after night.
