I percieved the commestibles were rather under flavoured with very little
evidence of Hellenic influence. In all my years of eating out, I've never had
such a bad experience in a Taverna - the swordfish tasted of stale ordure.
Moreover, I felt the clientele were of the "savage" variety, the sort of plebian
louts who make me ashamed to be British.
