Kalamaki Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

I went to Kalamaki in May and it was fantastic. We had a heatwave while we were there so the temperature rarely dropped below 95 degrees. The beach was 10mins walk away and when we were there it was like we had it to ourselves. Very clean, clear and calm. The food was fantastic and caters for everyone from restaurants to cafes. If you fancy a trip to Laganas it takes about 40mins walk or in a taxi about 5mins and costs about £4-5. The only bad thing about Zante was that it had the smallest airport i have ever seen, one luggage carousel, one door in and one door out. The depature lounge is tiny and they just try and squash you all in there which is not good when there is about 600 people in one room and your flight is delayed like ours (4 hours) All in all though we had a fantastic time. If anyone has any questions about Kalamaki then you can e-mail me on louisebowley@hotmail.com.

Cronulla Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Although the rooms aren't great everything else makes up for it. The pool is fantastic and the snack bar has quite a good choice and the bar has plenty of drinks to tickle your fancy. You really feel like part of the family stopping there. Dia and her sons are fantastic and very entertaining, especially when working behind the bar. Not to near the centre of town so its just quiet enough and only 5-10 walk to the beach and even better only literatually 5 mins from the airport. Would definitely go and stop there again.
