The Summertime Bar is great. What more can I say than that? Well, after the first night me and my mate stumbled into it, we went back every single night for the rest of our holiday. They do an excellent pint of Mythos - and it's nice and cheap! - the staff are great, especially Lorna and Anna, who are wonderful. Can't remember the last time I met two people more willing to listen to a couple of drunk blokes talk nonsense for hours on end! (And join in!)
The bar plays excellent music and is one of the few in Laganas not to have karaoke - therefore no drunken renditions of Like A Virgin or Suspicious Minds to contend with except your own.
It's even right next to a cashpoint so if you spend all your money on Mythos, Amstel and Smirnoff Ice you can nip to the machine to get some more Euros!
If you go to Laganas, you have to go to this bar - and say hello to everyone from me. Ta.

la bamba is a top quality bar full of great people. mike is the friendliest bar owner i've ever met, kosta is better at taking the p**s out of people than anyone i've met for quite some time, the rest of the bar staff are great too - managing to remember what i want to drink without me even asking is a useful and much-appreciated skill! kate and kerry are top-notch waitresses too.
and it's the best bar for karaoke in laganas.
i'll be back - and i'll have a mythos, a smirnoff ice and ooh, i'll probably sing something by elvis.
