Just got back from a week's holiday staying at the Amaryllis Aparthotel (3*) in Kalamaki. I would recommend Kalamaki to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday - most of those there were couples and families. However, one of the great things about the place is that you can walk 20 minutes along the beach to Laganos and have all the nightlife you want.

Restaurants in Kalamaki all seem pretty good and inexpensive - Paolos and Hera were two of the best. Varied menus, friendly staff and quality food. There are some decent bars - if you like a more 'British' feel with pool tables, Sky Sports and full breakfasts you will find plenty like this.

Just got back from a week staying here - really enjoyed it. All facilities were excellent and the place was quiet and relaxing. Ignore the boot-faced receptionist on duty during the day though! All the other staff were great.
