This is for anyone who booked well in advance to stay at the Avouris in Tsilivi.PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR TRAVEL AGENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been informed that on  arrival at Zante Airport, you will be told that the Avouris rooms are not to standard, or they are full(this of course is not true).As we understand it's more a case of the tour operators trying to knock down prices all the time. The rooms are clean and fitted out with the nessesary requirements. Hubby and I visited Tsilivi two years ago and fell in love. Our local was the Avouris, friendly welcome from Panioti and Demitris and all the staff. Lovely pool, food and best of all the refreshments. Look forward to returning in September this year.

thought it was time to comment , after visiting tsilivi for 11 times in 10 yrs, we think its great! anyone thinking of visiting the avouris, you will find a very warm welcomefrom the management, family and staff.it is run by dimitri and panioti, they have an excellent clean pool, with bar , where you will meet mr p, he is full of fun. dimitri can be found at the front bar,where you can learn alot about the island as he is very interesting to talk to .you will find your stay here most relaxing

Stayed here for 3w in May this year and last year. The accomodation is excellent and I would agree with other comments re staff etc. Location is  the real winner as it is quiet during the day and night but you are only a 10m stroll to the town and the blue flag beach is a stones thow.

Got back from Tsilivi yesterday and it was so good I wanted to stay there.The apartments were good and the pool was refreshing and clean.The staff were fantastic,i'd never met more friendly people whilst being on holiday.The bars and restaurants were lovely and the food was fresh and well-cooked.The beach was clean and tidy and the views and surrounding area were breath-taking.I would definately reccomend it and I am planning to go back in the near future.

 Fantastic, just what we needed, nice a quiet but not far from the bars and resturants.  Fab pool and staff, very friendly.  Would recommend highly.

Does anybody have any digital photos i could have a peek at, of the Avouris Apartments, the Beach, general area, Tsilivi .  I am staying there for 2weeks from 23rd June.
