Well what Can I say Lagana is brilliant something for all the family! Weather wonderful every day! When we got to the apartment on Monday14th Aug 06 I could have cried!!!
 What a sh*t hole, the apartments are very basic! we are a family of six ( two apartments) in the main apartment which had 4 of us sharing there was two of everything even towels we had to beg on more than one occasion for extra, in the end the rep went and bought the equipment needed.
The family who run apollo are miserable and unhelpful, the balcony doors where broken, and window catches broken, and when we complained and asked for them to be repaired we got 'Tomorrow' well tomorrow never comes!
The pool Bar states that it will be open until 2am, but only if Bicky The Owner (Wife) can be bothered!
we had a 4am pick up this morning and sat by the bar drinking and she shut the bar up at 11.45pm!!!!
 The pool tiles are broken and in need of repair not only my son but numerous guest came down with ear infections
I wouldn't waste your money on this apartment!!

Oh and I almost forgot to mention the fact that we had to sit by the pool from 10pm until 5am when we got picked up with our cases as they wouldnt leave the case room unlocked!So couldnt even go out on our last night, | ||||||||||

Do not bother going to the apartments, we went with another friend and it was a complete dive...around 3 in the morning we heard several shot gun rounds fired right outside the apartment and arguing family members 24/7. Around the back of the apartment were stinking chickens running around that would not shut up all day and into the evening. The owners must be trying to help the local community by employing blind people to be the cleaners as they clearly had no idea on how to use a mop or how to change bed sheets...thats if they bothered to turn up. We booked two rooms but but one of the rooms toilet leaked constantly so 3 of us had to stay in a 2 bedroom apartment which means we had to sleep on a sunbed or the floor for the week we were there. During the day when we would order lunch the chef would inform us he can't do it because he couldnt be bothered to make it, even simple meals like burger and chips!! the drinks were always warm and staff unfriendly and the pool and surrounding area was dirty and neglected. We were told we were not too far from town but infact it was a 20-30 minute walk to the shops before you even hit the beach front.
If you do decide to come here make the most of the friends you meet and get your beer goggles on so it makes the place look a s**t load better! (if you do come here you must be socially and morally wrong...or a scouser as there we an abundance of these!) | ||||||||||

This place was murder!!! If you enjoy being shot at by locals, watching cats getting skinned from your balcony or being flooded by the apartment upstairs, then this is the place for you. We were verbally abused by hotel manager and had to listen to the most annoying screeching woman from 9am - all day.
Met alot of brilliant people staying at apartments when we were there, that was the only good thing about the place. Oh, and the chickens, the kittens and the lovely donkey down the road.-that was your entertainment as the bar shut at about 9pm every night.
When we were there thomas cook had taken them off the books so for about 5 days there were only about 10 of us at the apartments.
The island is lovely though and so much to do.going back next year - but to another hotel xx | ||||||||||

We were supposed to be staying here for 1 week from the 29th Sept - 6th Oct 2005 but the travel agent phoned me on the 24th it has been shut down due to health and safety reasons. We have been moved to the Perkes Hotel does anyone know anything else about this? |

well when we first i arrived i thought it was like zantes very own faulty towers but i was soon proven wrong!! the mosquitos are bitches i got bite so much i thought id broken out with achne ewwww but it was nothing a bit of bite cream didnt sort out!!! the rooms are really big but very basic, well you do get what u pay for!! the night life was amazin.. free shots everywhere and girls get yourself dancing on the bar 2 get some free cocktails!! everyone is sooo friendly n atmosphere is great!! it is really cheap n the food is delicious!! the beach is beautiful sooo clear, its just a short 5min walk away from the apartments!! overall zante is great we had an amazing holiday | ||||||||||

on first impression it looks a bit crap and the mosquitoes and flies r a biiiittttt scary. the rep thought i had meningitis from all the bites tht i had which was supa fun but other than that i have no complaints. the family were friendly...a bit pervy but then that is greeks for ya! the pool was really nice....warm in the middle of the night if ya fancy a drunken swim...the barman is soooo friendly and a laff. the beach is nearby and beautiful ya can see until forever the water is so clear. didnt really eat out much but there was a nice italian place and a nice big indian/chinese. the shops are all beautiful and the bars and clubs are amazin. i would recommend to any piss heads gettoin a fish bowl or the friday night bar crawl. rescues, cherries, waikiki are all good...wackabout is smokey and a bit crap but the barman is hilarious dirrty dances on the bar 4 ya! anyone plannin to go soon has to make friends with donkey in the field cz he has an awful life as do the rest of the horses there. dont be put off by ya room...coz ya never spend time in there anyways!!!XXX | ||||||||||

Heya myself and 5 friends went in July last year and seriously had the best time ever. The accomodation was basic but hey thats what you're paying for! Still all you need is a bed, shower and pool to have a great time, as we went for the nitelife not the hotel!! The owners were a tiny bit crazy but unless you destroy walls they're fine! Anyway we had such an awsome time that we're going back this year for two weeks on the 29thish of August, bit worried about the pool situation after reading this site, does anyone know what's going on??? Aside from this we can't wait to go again!! Hope to see some nice boys there!! | ||||||||||

hiya peter im going 5th september, at least were not the only ones. ive stopped in laganas b4 and thought it was fab. at the end of the day you only need to sleep in the apartments not spend the whole holiday in there so hopefully whatever we find when we get there we should have a great holiday. |

Not sure what to expect either peter, we are travelling this thursday 4 2 weeks till 2nd sept - Thomas Cook confirmed 2day pool will be up and running by our stay. Son (19) and mates stayed in laganas last year and said nightlife was buzzing and apollo is at away from the noise but walking distance to everything.We are going as family 4 adults 2 kids (not babies though) so hope there will be plenty for all types. May see you b4 we depart to let you know how its been. Zante itself is a lovely island. |
