Emily

we are looking forward to 3 weeks in Zante this year . We stayed at the Akis last year but are staying at the Emily apartments this year. I am trying to find out if safety deposit boxes are available in these apartments.

Spent two weeks, staying at the Emily in May 2007,

and found it very much to my liking, lovely setting and very peaceful,

met some very friendly people at the Emily, which made the

holiday almost perfect.

We really cannot understand all of the bad reviews for this place. We've just come back from a one week stay (September 2005 - Room 3) and we found it absolutely perfect! Apparently complaints had been made previously but we found nothing to grumble about - it just depends on what you're expecting! The rooms are very simply furnished - pine furniture in the bedroom though and very clean. All the windows are double glazed, and the door is very secure. We had a seperate kitchen area and bathroom, both of which were dated but perfectly suitable for what we needed. We had the room cleaned about 4 times over the 7 nights we were there with clean towels every time. You definitely do need to take your own towels though as the they never provide enough and the ones they do provide are a bit old and threadbare. If you're planning on having a few snacks you may also want to take some picnicware with you as the crockery there is a bit thin on the ground. However all in all, the rooms are clean, the paintwork is fresh, and they are traditional greek studios. The location of Emily studios is unbeatable and they really are a great little set of apartments and studios. We would most definitely go back there!
