It was too touristy and as usual the English people ruined things by being too noisy & inconsiderate.  The walls at the Arkadanios are so thin we were woken up every night about 4 times due to people coming back from the bars, as well as people having showers (we could hear the water running and the boiler making a noise).  Then at 8am we were woken up by kids banging on the walls shouting: "THIS IS YOUR WAKE UP CALL!" .  I like to go on holiday so I can take a rest from work and catch up on my sleep.  I felt unrefreshed and bad tempered every morning due to such a bad night's sleep.

 

However, not everything was bad.  We took a trip into Zakynthos Town a few times which was lovely, and everyone was friendly.  It was a lot more Greek!

 

Sam the rep was very impressive, I have no complaints about her whatsoever.  She did her job brilliantly and was the best rep I have come across in a good few years.

 

I wouldnt go back to Zante.  Here are my reasons!

 

1) It's too 18-30's for my liking

2) We pretty much did everything there was to do within two weeks.

3) My boyfriend's luggage got put on the wrong flight and was sent to Bristol instead of Gatwick.  This is because the lady didnt stick a sticker on the suitace even though we pointed it out to her, she just shrugged her shoulders.

4) The airport was hideous

5) I prefer somewhere a bit quieter!

 

And Anne Hutchinson - I think people on here are entitled to their opinions.  As much as you clearly love Zante, I think you should allow other people to express their opinions when they may be negative.  If everyone agreed on the same thing, life would be pretty boring!

All I was expressing was my opinion about the resort.
