hi me and my boyfriend have just come back from zante on 2 july 2006 staying at the pythari apartments to say this was our first time visiting zante we had an excellent week wish we could of stayed longer the weather was fabulous very hot indeed which was fantastic...The studio we stayed in was clean and tidy the only problem we found was the shower in the bathroom we think it could do with a make over and the studio didnt have any air conditioning so it was very hot at night in but we got through it so we werent bothered..The pool was excellent and clean the water was really warm and we were very surprised with how deep it was has i couldnt touch the bottom...The staff at the apartments were very friendly and willing to talk especially niko who owns tha bar and restaurant  the food was absolutely fantastic and at the snack bar too...Its about 15-20 minutes walk to some of the bars and restaurants and beach which wasnt too bad has there was lots to see and do on the way and it doesnt feel like ur walking for that long...We went on one of the boat trips to turtle island to see the turtles which was brilliant as we got to see lots of turtles and really close up and the guy who took us on the boat was great and has he gave us lots of information about the turtles and the island....If ur thinking of going to zante then we would certainly recommend staying at the pythari apartments as we certainly will be going back there next year as they are located back from the main road and in a quiet area and would suit all types of people.....
