Hi  Fran and Lindsay and your familys, just to say thanks for the comments on the Molodos. Look forward to seeing you again sometime soon. Makis sends his best wishes. The picture of him with the two of you is great.

For those who don't know where we are we are next to the Molodos Supermarket on the beach road past the Letsos hotel.

Hope to see many old and new faces. Lisa

Plessas Palace Hotel - (Accommodation in Alykanas)

Graeme K

The apartment was really grubby and the toilet waste pipe leaked. When we reported it a half hearted attempt was made to fix it (only after making a fuss). The pool area was uninviting and the apartment was noisy - the area outside our room was like a car park. The towels were also very old - we bought new ones during our stay which was only 4 days as we eventually changed hotels. The poorest accommodation I have stayed at in greece.

Katerinas Kitchen - (Restaurants in Alykanas)

Graeme K  (23 August 2005)

We ate in several places in the village and Katerinas Kitchen was far better than any of the others - the service was excellent - the doorman did put us off at first but we decided to give it a try and were treated like valued customers on every occassion. The food was delicious (and the complimentary wine wasn't bad either). The best resturaunt in the resort.  The grilled feta was delicious as was the lamb kleftiko and any of the fish dishes.

Mill Bar - (Bars in Alykanas)

Graeme K

The Mill bar saved our holiday - we hated our accommodation and on our second day happened upon the Mill bar and were welcomed by the lovely pool area, rooftop bar, friendly service and the best club sandwiches. The greek night was also excellent and really good value. Highly recommended.
