Could anyone tell me what the Carretta BAY hotel is like and if it is situated close to the Carretta Beach hotel? I will be going to stay there in August but can not find any information about it.

Hi Grace, I am heading to Caretta Bay in August and would appreciate your opinions on the place when you get back:) Ive been finding it hard to find any reviews on the place so I have no idea what to expect! I went to Zante last year in June for a week but we stayed in Laganas. Hope you have a great holiday:)

Thanks Jet. Can you tell me if it is close by to other places, if you can remember? I think its a fair bit away from the beach but as long as its not out in the middle of nowhere I dont mind that.

Hi all. Went to Laganas last June and spend almost every nite in Mad Murphys. Best bar ever.

This trip sounds great. Is the water very deep at the swim stop? Im not a great swimmer and dont like swimming out of my depth.

Me and my husband are keen hill walkers. would there be any chance of walking to this beach or would it be too dangerous. We are staying in kalamaki.

Do you need any previous experience with boats in order to hire a speedboat to get to the island?
