Razis Erieta Studios - (Accommodation in Laganas)

Rachel W

Am going to Zante for 2 weeks on September 5th staying here, please reassure me its ok! Also me and my mate are 27 and 28 so not sure we really want to do all the tacky nitelife, a little bit would be ok - are there slightly more 'downbeat' bars too if having tequila licked out of your cleavage isn't quite your bag? cheers ;o)

Olympic Holidays - (Tour Operators in Zante)

Rachel W

I wasn't very pleased with Olympic Holidays, they were the only 'fly in the ointment' of my otherwise great hols! I had my bag stolen which had my room and safe keys and when I rang the 24hr so called emergency number it was not dealt with how I think it should have been. I was patronised and not taken seriously. The member of staff expected me to either stay in another guest's room, go and stay in a hotel (having told her I have no money or cards...) or (get this) get the barman to break into our room through the patio doors! hello??? they're lucky I'm a 27yr old woman with a bit of savvy, imagine giving this advice to a young 17yr old girl!!! I filed an official complaint and await to hear. It has put me off using them again.

Ionian Sea - (Restaurants in Laganas)

not sure waht everyone is b***hing at! yeh the service is a bit slower than other places but fine if you have time for a lesiurely meal. the old guy on the door is sweet and kept calling me treacle!
;-)the food was fine, i'm a veggie and there were a fair few choices.

China Town - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Rach   (07 October 2004)

Hmmm sounds like I was lucky not to get food poisoning here! it was ok, we just wanted a quick meal as not to interfere with valuable drinking and clubbing time so it suited. A bit greasy, but ok. I think you have to be a real pig to get value for the nine euros though! not sure I got VFM.

Ruby - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Rach   (07 October 2004)

This place was top notch! a lot more expensive than other places but we waited until the end of the hollies and treated ourselves! my mate likes Chinese and me Indian so it was a good move! The Jalfrezi was mmmm almost as hot as at home and the chili naan was to die for! my mates Chinese looked pretty good too. Nice change from Greek food! Not if you're on a budget though.

The Isles Greek Restaurant - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Rach

You must go here. The waiters are all lovely, friendly and very attentive. Its good at lunchtime for a snack but better at nite - people in Greek costumes, dancing and plate smashing - the whole nine yards! The food was fab as well, big portions - only meal I couldn't finish! The staff give out cards during the day along the beach and are soooo friendly and lovely. Hi to Leo and Roberto.

Cocktails and Dreams - (Bars in Laganas)

Rach

A must! I think me and my mate were the oldest in here (27 and 28!) but it was cool! some good recent music and some old cheese too. The bar staff are quite entertaining and the cocktails are mmmmmmm! Watch yourself on those stairs though after one too many and wearing high shoes!

Bad Boys Club - (Bars in Laganas)

Good for shaking your booty in! drinks are pricey - don't have the blue cocktail its minging! you can do it out your ass into it!!!

I disagree that the staff at the pool bar would help with any probs with the rooms as I found quite the opposite!!! Yeh the appartments are ok, they're in a good location as its not too far from the main strip and you don't get all the noise from the main road etc. If you are in the Erieta room 2 say hello to the mouse! ;o) The rooms weren't that well equipped, only 1 glass and no corkscrew/bottle opener - but a great big saucepan if you fancied making a big stew!!! Very very basic, but you only really doss there don't you? pool was ok.
