Borsalino Studios - (Accommodation in Laganas)

Lisa D

Me, my husband and my 21mth old have came back from the Borsalino Apts yesterday, and I have to admit I enjoyed my stay there, The apts are basic as are all apts in Greece, to me its just a place to sleep and get changed in. I thought Yiannis and Elaner and there lovely little boy Pedros were lovely we never had any probs from them and they couldn't be anymore helpful, and yes Yiannis is very proud of his pool and expects you to shower before you get in, (but its only like having a brand new carpet fitted you wouldn't want people with dirty shoes treading all over it), as long as you respect that you won't have any probs.
The food is wonderful and you pay the same as what you would if you ate in laganas itself, same with the drinks. Do take a mosquito plug and plenty of cream. The apts are about a 20 min walk to the main strip and 30 min walk to the beach. We always went into laganas for a meal and drinks and then probably had one at the bar when we came back and we had no problems about not spending our money there.

Akropolis Restaurant - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Lisa D

We went for a meal at the acropolis, i wouldn't say it was anything spectacular just a normal restaurant like any other in Laganas, good range of meals, the potato skins are really nice and are like a mini meal in itself. Its good for families as we had a 21mth old to cater for, and the childrens menu was good and there is a play area aswell.

The food was nice, we had Jacket potatoes and they were scrummy, especially the one i had with chilli.

Casa Grecque - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Lisa D  (28 June 2004)

We had a lovely meal here, the staff were very helpful, and the mushrooms ala creme were beautiful even my 21mth old liked them (and shes a fussy eater). Good range of childrens meals. best to go before 9pm as they have a specials board where some of the meals off of the menu are 1/2 price and they finish at 9pm.

Ionian Sea - (Restaurants in Laganas)

I have to admit we ate twice here and didn't have a bad meal on both visits, my little girl enjoyed it especially the playground.

Olympic Flame - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Lisa D

We enjoyed it here, abit disapointing for my little girl as she couldn't go and play on the play area as it was raining, but the food was nice.

Paradise - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Lisa D

We went here and its was beautiful, I had potato skins to start with and that was like a meal in itself and then I had the Beef something flambe and that was scrummy, when they fetch it out its on a big tey and they flambe it in front of you, the service was excellent and Nikos was extremely nice.

Romios - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Lisa D  (28 June 2004)

We ate here twice and both times it was enjoyable, the downfall was I couldn't eat it all. I would recommend the potato wedges and tzatiki for starters and the romios special for main, the childs menu is good, but I think the Waitress there on our first visit might have got a bit fed up with my little one saying Yassou to her everytime she walked passed cause on our second visit she gave her sone crayons and paper (haha). But very lovely food

Sarakina - (Restaurants in Laganas)

Lisa D

We went here and on the boards around laganas it said children catered for, we went up there with our 21mth old and there was no high chairs, no childrens menu and the playground was across the road from the restaurant. My little one end up having chips, I had meatballs and it just tasted raw the roast potatoes were in like a curry powder and the tzatiki was very peppery. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
