We visited Bayyhoo on 28/05/08; Two Staff sat outside, with no customers
Once served, beer was ok though.
Sadly The Owner made us feel like Zante was Dead on It's Feet, Especially Tsilivi;
Went here with a View to considering Purchase, But became more Interested in Renzo Enzo, Next Door, as although Empty had more Potential; It wasn't until Owner Realised who I was that the Attitude Changed; When we left an Hour later we were still the only customers
Sorry Bally hoo, but thats how we saw it.

Yes Sadly Al Sandros is no more for this season;
But do not despair, it may be open in 2012 i I decide to buy it
as it is currently on my hit list of bars to buy.

8/10Well What Can We Say;
Having read many comments, we were not sure what to expect, But other than the fact that we arrived at 06.30am, And there was no way of getting in until 8.00am we began to think Oh Oh.
How Wrong were we to be; Week 27/05/11 - 03/06/11
We had a One Bed Appartment sleeping 3, I can say that as the place had been shut all winter & was musty, this was clearly the Biggest Appartment we have ever had in Zante, & we have been coming to Zante for 12 Years; Albeit very Basic.
Sandy & Maria, wonderful people, so laid back they can be Bown over.
Yiannis, Bar; What a great Guy, fun & knew the Island Inside out.
The Pool & Bar Area were Clean & Tidy, also very safe for Kids, Drinks & Snacks reasonable.
Clearly Sandy has Listened to some comments, and has had the Place fully re-decorated this year
well done Sandy; Would we stay there again, Yes Most Definately, and this was our first time here.
They even Phoned for Taxi's for us several times at No Charge;
Sandy, Maria, & Yiannis, We hope to see you next year.

8/10 Have been going to Zante for the last 10 years or more; My Tip; If you intend to do these trips DO NOT BOOK WITH YOUR HOLIDAY TOUR COMPANY, THEY MAY WELL OVER-CHARGE YOU FOR WHAT YOU GET; Instead Go to Porte Vromi (porto roma) Hire a Small boat to take you instead, That way you don't have to go all round the Island, If you only want to do the Ship Wreck; We have Done the Tour 4 Times, Once on Our Own Steam, 3 With Holiday Tour Companies; & Guess What We Only Got To Dock & Go To The Ship Wreck On The Trip We Organised Ourselves, not Once With The Holiday Tour Company Trips.
Alas if you want to see the Island Round Trip By Boat, Your Holiday Tour Company Trip Will Be A Day Trip; Your Call!!! Advice THESE ARE WELL WORTH SEEING, ESPECIALLY BLUE CAVES, In a Smaller Boat.

8/10 Great Idea for day out; But yes remember Zante is Easy to cover in a Day, as a Tourist;
So Yes Either Book with a Bucket Shop, (Side Of Road Tours) Or Just Hire A Jeep For The Day,
(Would.t Book With Holiday Tour Operators, They May Rip You Off) It's Easy To Drive On Zante, You Cant Get Lost, It's An Island.
Also By Doing It Yourself, You can Go Down Any Track Roads, Just To See Where They Go, We Hire a Jimmy Jeep, Whenever We Visit Zant, (10 yrs + So Far), And You'll be amased at what you can find
The Organised Trips are well worth doing as well, If Doing Your Own Try Visiting KERI & Some Smaller Mountain Villages, You'll Enjoy It., ie Cheese Factory, Jewellery Factory, Museums, Etc.
Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)

7/10 We Have been going to Zante for Many Years, So disagree with previous comments; Having just come back again, Although we Organised our own Holiday we Flew with Thomas Cook Airlines; We had Two - Three Check In Desks Open, There Was Ample Seating & All Duty Free Shops Were Open, Alas Like All Airports Snacks Are Not Cheap;
Bearing In Mind What Zante Airport Used To Be Like, Quewing Outside In Hot Sunshie, If You Were Lucky, With A Little Canvas Shelter; You Will Find Now That This New Modern Airport, Is Far Better, & In-Fact Is Still Improving/Developing Further; Although It May Not Seem Like It Due To The Current Global Ecconomy
So Don't Be Put Off Coming To Zante, By Stories About The Airport, I Good Now.;; Help The Greek Ecconmy Though, Don't Book All Inclusive & FEED TOUR OPERATORS, BOOK THE TRADTIONAL WAY HOTEL B&B, APARTMENTS, VILLAS, ETC. Please help the People of Zante, Use Their Bars, Hotels, Restaraunts Etc.
Lets Have The True Zante Back. The Reason So Many Bars Etc Have Gone Is. GREEDY TOUR OPERATORS, Trying To Force The Issue, & Getting Away With It.

The Rooms are Basic & Clean, With Daily Maid, Who Even Did Our Washing Up, not expected.
Sara, Reception; & Amanada Bar; Both Lovely Ladies, Very Helpful, Freindly & Polite, Well Sarah is, Only Joking Amanada.
Lola has to be the best Bull Dog Ever, Pool Cleaned & Tested Twice Daily, But After First Rainfall for a Long Time, It Soon Clouded; But Was Treated with Chemical straight away.
Ackos, Bar; What a Funny Guy, With some Great Stories, Good Luck In Oz Mate, Dont forget not to go more tahn 2 days without Extreme Sports.
A Really Good Friendly Hotel, Good Bar, Good Pool, Great Food, Especially Big Breakfast

We Came in When Kalamaki was closing really For The Season End, Early October; And It Had Been Raining, But We Still Had A Great Couple Of Hours In Here Watching Footie, Hosts Were Perfect, Why Even Put All Our Drinks On Tab, Without Asking, So Just Settled Up In Full When We Left;
What a Great Bar & Perfect Hosts, With Good Prices, Will See You Next Year.
