Venus Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

The Hotel Venus is the best place to stay in Kalamaki.  The family suites are excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for you.  There were 8 of us staying and you can imagine the problems that causes, but nobody seemed to mind the noise, the arguements and the laughter, lots of laughter, we had there.  We ate at the Artimis and would recommed it, try the Chicken Grand Mariner - excellent.  We also would recommed the Mermaid resturant too.

It is easy to book direct with the Hotel Venus and the hotel minibus to/from airport is a lifesaver and all part of the service (as is the air con) when you go direct.

Buon Amici - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Had a fabulous meal here - mussels are to die for.  Staff talked us through the specials board and ended up with steak in a balsamic sauce - beautiful.  Those who had pasta & pizza also enjoyed theirs

Wow - what can I say.  New menu is out of this world .  Stuffed mushroom, mussels saganki, sticky bbq ribs, smokey mountain chicken stack, woodgrilled bbq chicked, stuffed pizza, steak in jack daniels sauce,  I could go on

Staff are great Spyros, Nick, Tony and Claire.

Cronulla Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

I stayed here back in August.  It was absolutly fabulous.  I travelled alone with my 11 year old daughter and could not have picked a more friendly hotel..

Everyone at this hotel makes you feel like a long lost friend.  Rooms are spacious and well kept.  I never felt alone in the bar with Jimmy, Tom, Suzanne and Roby.  Dias and Stelios are the perfect hosts.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Jeep Safari - (Zante Excursions)

We did the Jeep Safari in August of this year.  I booked the trip from a bucket shop and it was about 65euros for myself and 11 year old daughter.

On the day of the trip we were to be picked up from Drunk Corner.  I was really worried as Alan was 20 mins late and I thought we may have made a huge mistake.

I needn't have worried about anything that day.  We picked up a dutch couple in Lags and off we went.  It was a fantastic trip and Alan is full of local knowledge.  He kept stopping to pick plants from the roadside to show us.

He included Annie all through the day, and kept up the banter.

I would definatly recommend this trip to anybody
