Majestic - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Kirsty M          10/10

Well weve just got back from Tsilivi and really enjoyed it. (08/07/07 - 22/07/07)
Eat in Many restaurants but one of the best one's on the island is Majestic. Demitri is great, very welcoming and doesnt push you to go in and eat.
The food was really nice and value for the money. Alot of choice on the menu so you will never be short to try something new.

It was my birthday during the holiday and i had a brilliant time in Majestic. All the guys sung and made me have one of the best days of the holiday.

This restaurant is definatly worth 10 out of 10 and i would recomend it to any body and if you go to tsilivi then at least give one night of your holiday to go there.
We will defo be returning.

Family Restaurant - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Kirsty M          10/10

Just got back from Zante and this was another restaurants that was visited a few times. The staff were very polite and the food was tradtitional, value for money and there was a variety to choose from. We would recomend this to other people and will be returning xxx

Jeep Safari - (Zante Excursions)

Kirsty M          10/10

This was the only trip that we did during our holiday and we are glad that we chose this one. Its a long day but was worth it. The guys who drive the jeeps are a great laugh and give you all the information that you want to know and are willing to answer any questions that you want to ask.
Its a better way of seeing the whole island as your not stuck on a stuffy coach all day and the off road part is a laugh.
We booked our trip through a company in town and was 60 euro's for two.
I would recommend this trip to others as its a great way to get out of the sun for a day, see the island in one go and just generally have a good time.
Thanks to the guys who also joined us.
See ya soon

Filoxenia Aparthotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Kirsty M          8/10

The filoxenia was a nice hotel. we arrived and the staff were very welcoming, showed us to our rooms and sorted anything out that needed sorting.
Recommend getting safe box and air con as gets very warm.
The hotel is in two sections with two pools. we were in the main part  that you see in brochures as was self catering.  Basic stuff in room, fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave,  2 ring  hob and toaster so everything you need.
Food in hotel is priced ok. Food is nice as we eat in for breakfast and one night for evening meal. The bar staff are welcoming  and  are willing to make conversation with anyone.
People Have mentioned the music. We were directly across from the bar and only night we had a SLIGHT problem with the music was on a wednesday as its Greek night. Other than that the music is not a problem.

The rooms are cleaned everyday getting fresh towels every few days and same for clean bedding.
The pool got busy towards the end of the holiday (this was due to schools holidays starting) so the pool got busy when children were in with all the floats, So we resorted to the beach which was nice.
Walk into the centre was nice. 15mins to centre with all the bars and restaurants and the beach walk was 20mins. Its hot in middle of day but in a morning and evening is a pleasant walk.
Recommend this hotel if what you want is somewhere that is clean, tidy and had everything you need for comfort. it is great for families or couples

Calypso Restaurant - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Kirsty M          10/10

Ate here couple of times and really enjoyed it. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. Had the Souvlaki Platta both times we went and it tastes fantastic. There is a great variety of food to choose from, good priced and if your after tradtional greek food go in. We will return

July - (Best Time to Visit)

Kirsty M

weve just been 8th july - 22nd and found it good. The first week of our hol seemed quiet, just couples, a few families. This is prob due to school holidays havnt started. The second week of our holiday was bit busier. When walked into town it seemed to be more people in an evening (but not too much that it was unpleasant). V hot this time of year so be prepared for heat waves as our hottest day was 49 degrees. Good time to go though as heat an excuse for a cold drink, ice cream and relaxin days in pool or sea

Tsilivi Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Kirsty M

the beach was amazing. Could walk in the sea out a long way and still able to touch and see the bottom. Sun beds are cheap enought. 6euro's for two (for whole day).

If you do decide to go on beach, when you walk on turn left and walk up that way. If you stay in the middle or right there is alot of pebbles, stones and shingles on the edge of the sea which really hurts when walking on them. Only prob with going left is that it does get a little busy. Ensure plenty of cream on as the breeze hides the fact that your beginning to burn.

Onlty problem we found was the men selling copied DVD's but if your polite and say no they leave you alone. Just pretend your sleeping and they will just walk right past as thats what we did hehe x
