I think that you have done the right thing in choosing Kalamaki as where to stay in zante. Night flights are not allowed on Zante due to the loggerhead turtles that breed here, so I dont think that the noise will bother you too much.The weather during May is lovely but the nights can get a bit chilly so bring a light jacket with you.
I really hope that you enjoy your time in Kalamaki. Why not pay me a visit at my snack and pool bar - LONG STORY - a free drink will be given to you.
