Hey, just booked a week in the Mavrias Apartments Complex 3 at end of July with my boyfriend. I've been to Tsilivi twice but not for about 5 years jut wondering if anything has changed much? and what these apartments are like? and where they're situated?
Wanting to come back this summer and bring friends but can't find the apartments to book anywhere
6 of us coming to Tsilivi on June 23rd , just wondering what the weather is like around this time? I have been before around July/August and the sun is glorious, hoping June isn't too much different *fingers crossed*
Thanks Bill and Adrian. Sadly we couldn't get in with there being 6 of us it has made it rather difficult but I'm sure the 4 first timers (to Greece never mind Tsilivi) will enjoy it just the same. We've ended up in Mavrikos Aparthotel now and if it turns out to not fulfill what Mavrias has set as a standard I'm sure I could always upheave the group down to Mavrias for cocktails and Greek dancing around the pool on a night (Y).
7 weeks until we get to spend 10 nights at the Mav =D. Can't wait!
Spent every night here last august, me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the lively atmosphere and friendly staff, never needed to order your drinks as the staff would have remembered from previous visits or recommended other cocktails that I have to try. I imagine staying in the apartments would be pretty noisy yes but the bar is definitely worth a visit.
After knowing the double act of Yannis and Ilia from Zante Palace and when Friends bar was near McDonald's (good riddance), on my return to Tsilivi after 5 years I dragged my boyfriend to find this bar. After a whole lot of walking and finding Friends was really quiet and we left after one drink...but I'm starting to think, from reading previous comments, it's worth another try this year.
After the bakery this is definitely the first port of call for me, my boyfriend and our 4 Tsilivi virgins on the 23rd June. I love this bar, my boyfriend loves it, my mum does, my dad does and so does my little brother, definitely best bar in Tsilivi for anyone and everyone. Although I imagine it to be one of those places you walk past and wonder "what the F**K is going on in there?" but once you venture in you'll be back time and time again.
Kim, I'm so glad to hear that you've been to Zeus, I've just been reading that it wasn't opening this year which would have been a shame.
