10/10Got to agree with all the comments about what a fantastic place the St Denis apartments are. Gianni and Fortis really make you feel welcome and the complex itself is a small piece of paradise. The maid service is excellent and the whole place is spotlessly clean. Got home after 2 weeks last Tuesday, booked up for the same 2 weeks next year on the Wednesday, saw it was booking up fast so sent Donna a quick email saying ' book now!!!!' Look forward to seeing you all next year, and by the way Julian (ALAN PARTRIDGE - private joke!!), Chelsea will have regained the title by then!

Nice one Julian, good picture!! Not so sure about you winning the league though but i'd hate to see you in tears when i see you next June!! I agree with Donna, a good party one night and play a few tricks on Gianni (i promise not to complain about the noise!)

To those of you who haven't visited St Denis or Tsilivi before can highly recommend the Sweet Revenge restaurant, very large portions and all freshly cooked to your order.
Also don't bother with the greek night offered by your travel rep, a rip off, try the one on a Tuesday at the restaurant just up the hill past Popeyes (can't remember the name but it began with K).A fantastic night and you spend what you want to spend

10/10I have to comment and back Debs up here, St Dennis is a fantastic place to stay and as long as YOU AND YOUR FAMILY enjoy themselves that is the main thing. Debs, we met but our families didn't really get to know each other, hopefully that will change next year. Got to know Donna, CJ and Leah well (but then i am her financial advisor!!) and am in touch with her regularly.
As for you Mandy, you seem to have a problem with having a go at people you don 't even know and you seem to sterotype the 'northerner'. Its an old cliche but never judge a book by its cover, and i'm from the 'saarrff' of England!!!
Julian, i think my friend Roman has a big cheque book and it's all his own money ( rather than a big loan by Robin Cooks love child i.e Glazier senior) so Tevez may come to the Chelsea!!!!!
Seriously to all that we met this year you are fantastic people and look forward to seeing you next year.
Donna,CJ and Leah the kids can't wait, as for you Mandy - why not read up on a place before you book it, there is a lovely traditinal greek island near Skiathos called ttarpuoy (you'll find it on google)

well said donna, 'freedom of choice' i believe, people should be able to do what they want on holiday. my family and i found st dennis and tsilivi the perfect mix and we met some fantastic people (great that we're keeping in touch donna, leah and cj).
julian i guess you're gloating over the result yesterday but it was only a friendly after all - wait till it starts for real - hope you and ciara are well.
mandy - i see that you can write back to front as well as read it, however, after careful consideration i will stick to my golden rule and that is not to enter a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent!!

10/10Gillian, i have to totally agree with Donna, St.Dennis is a superb place, the accommadation is spot on and the location is central for everything, 2 minute walk from the beach and the same into the town for your bars, tavernas and restaurants
Yianni and his sidekick Fotis are great at the pool bar and everybody there makes you feel welcome and relaxed so you can enjoy your holiday. I don't normally go back to the same place twice but when i got back in July this year the following day i rebooked for 2008, as have alot of people!
Donna, Leah, CJ, Julian etc... look forward to seeing you all next year, counting the days!!!!!!

me and my family stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment this year and are going back again next year. our apartment was spot on,it consisted of a kitchen /diner, bathroom and 2 double bedrooms, one of the bedrooms had access to the balcony/terrace(we were on the ground floor as my 2 children were 7 and 3 years). there were doors for all the rooms, i would totally recommend st denis to you, especially with children, it is a fantastic complex and ideally situated for the beach and the tavernas/restuarants, whatever you fancy really. the complex is really child friendly and all the staff there make you feel so welcome, especially gianni and fotis but also the owners and the maids.
as you can see by the comments on this site it really is a brilliant place to spend your holiday.
donna,leah, cj and julian etc... looking forward to next june and julian hopefully we might actually see england play in the euro championships!!

Well, as spring is due to start officially this weekend and the weather forecast is grim makes the sunshine of Zante and St Denis even more inviting and not too far away now!
Donna love, everything is good with the invoices and i won't charge you for those, just let you buy me a couple of Yianni's famous cocktails!!
Also Doddsy if you speak to Yianni could you ask him if he could have a word with Martha so me, Paula and the girls aren't in an apartment too close to the bar again, i'd hate to have to shout at my buddy Alan 'Julian' Partridge again!!!!
On that note Julian i was waiting for an email from you so i could put your mind at rest re pnn....i think you'll find we have something in common ( it's ok everyone..it's not what you think.. i play rugby and am a real tough guy when i need to be!!!!)

Ray, there is air conditioning available at an extra cost, you just see one of the staff in the on-site shop and they will sort it for you - if it's as hot this year as it was last then i would definately recommend getting it!

Being a bloke with short hair i'm not really into hair dryers but my wife has informed me that you have to take your own as there are none in the rooms.
You could have a word with my mate Donna who takes out 14 wigs for the 2 weeks and drys them off by the pool after giving them a scrub in her shower and then rewears them as and when...depending on the theme of the evening...she has a great selection of colours!!....as good as new and you'd never notice!!

I don't think you'll be able to chose which apartment you have, however if you feel that you are too near the pool bar, Giannis, the bar manager is very considerate and will keep the music low late at night. You have chosen well and i hope you have a brilliant time, St Denis is superb!!
Donna love, love the wigs....guess you'll be buying a bigger suitcase to fit them all in!!!! I think if you could find a multi coloured one to take out that would be great!!

i stayed in a 2 bed apartment last year and am going back next tuesday for more....the layout is as you walk in you are in the kitchen/diner, there are then 2 separate bedrooms with 2 single beds in each and obviously a separate bathroom. one of the bedrooms has double doors leading onto your own private terrace/balcony.
you have chosen a fantastic place to have your holiday.
