Hi everyone.  I'm a new contributor and am looking for some help please.  We were in Argassi at the beginning of June for one week and then moved onto Tsilivi for the next.  We are going to Argassi next June and are thinking of staying at the Dora.  Can anyone help us with regard to booking etc.  How do I contact them direct?  Are they tied to a travel company? Do they have a web site? We have already booked our flights and are in the process of finding somewhere to stay.  The reports on the Dora are very good so we want to give them a try?

We've atayed at Two Brothers for the last 4 years and have already booked for next year!!  Tsilivi is really like two towns and a brilliant place for a holiday (especially the end where Two Brothers and the Ark is) the staff and people up this end are so friendly and Kosta and Tassos can't do enough for you.  They run a brilliant bar and if you are staying in Tsilivi, no matter which part, Two Brothers has to be visited.

 

Can't wait for next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Thanks for that Andy, I'll try and get them via e-mail.  Read your comments and it certainly seems a great place to stay.  In fact there are some great comments all round about Dora.

 

While I'm on, can anyone give us some info about The Apollo Hotel?  ie what's it like , where it is etc?  Where is it in relation to Legends Bar?

Thanks for that John.  I e-mailed them as Andy suggested and you're right, seems they are tied to First Choice for next year aswell.  Oh well, Thanks again.

Must have picked up a little because we've been going to Tsilivi in June for the last 4 years (think it's been open 2yrs) and only ever seen 5 people at most in this bar!!

And they didn't stay long.

 

Hope they are doing better.  Lots of competition from The Ark and Two Brothers though.

 

You can hire a safety deposit box from most of the hotels.  If you are staying up the end where The Ark or Two Brothers bar is (as we did in June) The Mediteranee Hotel is as good a place as any.  The cost was 20 Euros per week, which I thought was'nt too bad (compared with the cost of what it would mean to retrieve your stuff once it had been nicked or lost!! Trust me, We met a couple last year who had their stuff nicked the second day they were there.  Spent four days having to go to Athens for passport renewals etc, borrow money off friends because they'd gone independantly, arrange everything themselves, it was a nightmare and must have cost them loads!!  Then you have the hastle with the insurance when you get back!!

Honest, 20 Euro's is nothing.
