3/10Excellent Service, Excellent Food, but Quite Pricey (85 Euros for a Family of 5 with 3 Kids for a typical meal).
The Lamb Kleftiko was very good though.
Most of the other restaurants in Laganas offer free drinks (wine) or free garlic bread or free ice cream for the kids, but no such luck here despite being harassed into taking a card the night before with the promise of free drinks

The Parthenon is not only the best restaurant in Kalamaki - it is the best restaurant in Zakynthos.
The food is fantastic. Try the Lamb Kleftiko and the local beef dishes - absolutely superb, while they do a great range of meals for the kids (even Sunday Dinners!). The local wines are great - and priced very cheaply here. The value for money is second to none.
... and then there's the waiters, who make everyone feel so very welcome and special. They constantly entertain the kids!! Make sure you ask George to do some of his magic tricks, and Yiannis to do his disappearing ice-cream act - and spinning menu trick (see below).
Many, many thanks for all the great meals and entertainment over the years (and many more to come) and especially George, Yiannis, Tiannhe, Julian and the rest of the gang (Babis, Bledi, Nari, Robert)!
