Escape - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

We were in Kalamaki from 3rd -17th June and had a brilliant time.  There are so many lovely restaurants and we went to Escape twice during our two week stay and enjoyed it on both occasions.  The first time we had the garlic swordfish steak and t bone steak in pepper sauce, both served with delicious roast potatoes and rice!  The second time we had barbecue pork and beef a la greece which were also really nice.  We really recommend the banoffee pie for desert!  This restaurant is really nice, in a lovely setting, good value for money and friendly staff.

Hera Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Over our two week stay in Kalamaki this had to be our favourite restaurant, we went 4 times overall and had a brilliant meal every time.  We went to Hera on our first night and had delicious meals and although our main meals took a while to come they gave us a free glass of wine.We also chose this restaurant on the last night when we had the Chateaubriand, which was delicious and presented really nicely.  This restaurant has a really good choice of food and the waiters are very friendly - we really recommend it!

Olive Tree Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

We went to the Olive Tree 3 times during our two week stay and really enjoyed our meal each time.  The food was delicious, especially the beef Athena, you get big portions, the roast potatoes are gorgeous and the staff are so friendly.  The baklavas from this restaurant is the best - much better than anywhere else!

We only ate at this restaurant once during our two week stay but we had a really nice meal there.  It was good Greek food, good value for money and the waiters were very friendly!

Zakanthi - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

We ate at this restaurant once during our two week stay as the setting of the restaurant attracted us - it looks so romantic.  However while the food was ok and the place is nice, it was probably our least favourite restaurant in Kalamaki due to the expense and the service wasnt that good, as many other reviews also comment on.  Still it is a lovely place and does have a good choice of Greek food.

Black Pearl - (Bars in Kalamaki)

We loved this bar and the bar men were so friendly!  We visited most nights as it was just past Hera and the Olive Tree, our two favourite restaurants and it's great!  Firstly we ordered cocktails from the menu then were offered them to match my top and a 'strong cocktail' for my boyfriend, so from then on he just used to make us any cocktail we wanted.  2.50 euros is as cheap as anywhere else and to say its such a nice, clean place with friendly bar men and great strong cocktails its definately the best bar in Kalamaki!
