Well Just returned from Zante for 1 week, what can we say everyone at Sugar Reef made it one of the best yet! Since the first year that it opened the food has definately got better and better! Dennis, John, Angela and Jimmy are just fantastic people and can't wait to see you all again in 12 weeks! Would reecomend the place to absolutely anybody! See you all soon!

Mustang Saloon - (Bars in Kalamaki)

Just come back from holiday and went here every night for a couple of games of pool, really friendly bar staff and great choice of music. Would reccomend the Play Your Cards & Quiz night to anyone, really fun!

Plubis Studios - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Well, used this pool for the majority of our holiday after the success of last year. Even though we did not stay here we were treated very well by James, Dennis and their Mother and Father. The pool is spotlessly clean and I would reccomend it to anyone. The bar serves simple (but extremely nice) bar snacks throughout the day at very cheap prices. The family are very honest people who do not try and rip you off. A must for all families in Kalamaki

Sugar Reef - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

We have just returned from our 14th visit to the Island and as usual spent every night at Sugar Reef. The restaurant just keeps getting better every year. Dennis, Angela, Jimmy, John and Lilly make you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door. Angela and her team are amazing cooks who will cater for everyone's needs and Dennis is fantastic at cocktail making. Met a few really nice families here. Would reccomend the place to everyone - definately scores 10/10... but remember to watch out for the pumpkins (all 13 of them!).

Zakynthos Airport - (Places to Visit in Zante)

Well it was a bit better than in June, at least now the arrivals in the new terminal was open. Although it wasn't finished it was very clean and seemed fairly organised (except no screen to tell you what carousel to collect luggage from). We were very impressed with this new part. It should be good when finished - obviously will never be up to the standard of our airports.

Coming home was still a night-mare with queues everywhere, rude reps and a distinct lack of security. The old terminal is still a disgrace and is extremely unclean and overpriced. Despite all this at least it is a bit bigger now that arrivals has moved next door allowing them to extend departures into the old baggage reclaim hall. Can't wait for the airport to be improved over the winter.

WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T LET THE AIRPORT RUIN YOUR HOLIDAY OR PUT YOU OFF COMING HERE - THE REST OF THE ISLAND IS AMAZING, SO A COUPLE OF UNCOMFORTABLE HOURS AT THE END OF YOUR HOLIDAY IS NOTHING REALLY.

We have visited Lambros for many years (even before he had this bar) and everytime he welcomes us and anybody else as a member of his own family. He is a genuine Greek who will help you out with anyhting you ask him to. Nothing is too much trouble for him. This place is a nice bar to chill out at before or after your evening meal. Well worth a visit!  Well done Lambros Zois, keep up the good work and see you in May next year!

Had a drink here one evening, really nice staff.

Kalamaki Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Lovely long, golden sandy beach to walk on. We thought it was very tidy and well maintained. Sunbeds are reasoabley priced.
