excellent food and service.tassos and his family make everyone very welcome.only thing didnt like was ouzo.this place is a must.

the shipwreck is stunning from any view! its best to go onto plarform when no one else is there (not very often though,)you can get stunning pics from around the cliff edges if you are careful.this is the most beautiful spot on the island,looks just like in the brochures and so will your pics.pity the cafe is never open.

went on train a week ago and it was fab,would highly recommend it to anyone.was only 10 euros each.avril the tour guide made it all very interesting from start to finish.enjoyed the meal at the restaurant in pigadaki,and a free bottle of local wine thrown in.museum and church tour were excellent.

 once again the boat tour was fantastic,we paid 15 euros each.the food onboard was a bit pricey but very nice.we went on the fast boat and thought it should have had a few more stops - the windmill at skinari is a beautiful spot to swim and take pictures.we werent near enough to the coastline as on previous times so the resorts were that clear to see.but would go again.if only to go to the shipwreck.

 we loved the food here,the service is always excellent as well as the food.the mouzaki family are very friendly and made us all welcome.cant believe anyone having to wait an hour for their meal.will eat their many times in the future.the accomadation at this place is excellent too with top class pool,snack bar and daily maid service. top class.try it.

we have been to alykanas for the past 5 years in both september and october and have always had good weather for the time of tear.this year was a bit cloudy for first couple of days then it was hot and sunny.mouzakis and levante bar are an excellent place to stay and eat as well as relax by the pool with good company (all the regular gang - too many to mention,the gang is growing every year,wont be long before it becomes a private club!!!).

this cafe make the best cup of coffee on the island (and ive tried many!!!) their toasties are to die for and their vanilla cream pies.the food is very well presented and the service is excellent.we stay in alykanas and go to the terrace every day for coffee.its the best.

 we have been to alykanas in both sept and oct and find that remors can happen at any time.its just one of those things.the weatehr can be unpredictable too.last year was the best two weeks of sunshine we have ever had.went 1st oct and only had rain the night b4 we went home, but it rained ALL NIGHT LONG. werent bothered as going home.will definately book again for the same time.
