Hi
Can any of the old timers help(as is regular visitors).  Are there any laundry facilities near by ?  I thought Steph may know.  Looks like you have that facility at your new appartments but they may not be for general use.
Cant wait to go just a few more weeks

Hi

Just returned this morning from these apts. We rated our holiday 9/10. My three Children loved it here.Age 14,11,10. The place its self is not a noisy place e.g no loud music playing,but the walls are thin. The first apt we were allocated was room 301t not very nice tiny balcony.The next room was excellent we changed with no problems the staff and rep could not have done more to make is a brill holiday. If you are planning self catering there is not much in the way of cooking facilities,but this is greece.  I took a toaster over with me and it would have been a boon if it worked.(off to shops for a refund!).
If you have an early morning flight you have to que  outside the  airport until it opens! You will also be stung for £50E to keep your room on so you need to budget for that.
The kids played pool on an evening 2E  a game which i thought was expensive,but it kept the kids entertained. The kariokee was also a big hit with the two youngest.  We never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants we visited.  Would recommend hiring a car to see the Island as it is very beautiful.  The kids also enjoyed the water park and was well woth the 44e(after2.30pm).  Thanks to everyone we met they were a great crowd. If any of the duch crowd read this,we beat you at pool,but not the water football, you were too young and fit
Missing the place already,
Lesley, Ian,David ,Lauren and Emma  Watson

We found eating out about the same as uk.  But with very little cooking facilities eating out 2-3 times a day expensive with 2 adult and 3 children.  One  place charged 2 euros each just to sit down. Kiddies drinks at 2.5E that seamed to be common place.  The bills came right down towards the end of the holiday as the kids wanted to drink water to quench their thirst.

Everyone has different tastes when it comes to restaurants.
The Panarama has fantastic views and have some specials everyday we ate here 5-6 times;
Syritaki (I think thats how you spell it) was also quite reasonable.
ole ole something special a bit on the expensive side.(2 e service charge each compared to likathea hotel 60 cents each)
The likathea hotel next to ours has again fantasic views and the food is a little cheeper than maestros, but the menu is not as extensive.
Part of the holiday is finding the best reastaurant that suits you.  our family all have different tastes  and appitites sometimes i would just go and eat on my own, as i didnt fancy the reastaurant my husband and kids picked.
enjoy your holiday and all those lovely greek salads (theres nothing like you first cold beer sereved in a frosted glass and greek salad when you arrive)
