Afrodite - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Terry D  (06 July 2004)

6 of us ate here (july '04) and all had somthing different, none of us were
dissapointed, the grilled steak was particularly good, the service was prompt,
and the menu was very extensive.

Carissimo - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Terry D  (06 July 2004)

We ate here because the guy stood at the front was very pleasant and
explained the menu to us, however the main waiter was a nightmare ,running
around all the tables trying to please everyone, no sooner had you finished a
glass of wine his arm appeared over your shoulder topping it up again, not
the kind of relaxed service you need on holiday.

Stasantas - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Terry D  (06 July 2004)

Oh dear, what an experience... The English guy working here (the one with
the pony-tail) was too busy checking that the waiters weren't ripping him off to
worry about his customers... All our meals arrived at different times, our 10
year old daughter had the pleasure of finishing her pizza 30 minutes before
our meals even arrived...

Target Bar Taverna - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Terry D

What more can you say... This is a genuine Taverna run by genuine greek
people, who seem to do the job because they love it and not because they
want your money, You can spend an entire evening just relaxing and
enjoying the incredible views over Zante town towards Kefalonia. Or why not
go up on a Greek night 12€ / 6€ for kids incredible value includes meal plenty
of wine and Greek dancers. You even get free transport there and back.
"If you stay in Argassi go here early in your visit - because you will want to go
back again".

Three Brothers - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Terry D

We ate here because we liked the idea of the same family catching and
cooking their own fish, we were not dissapointed the grilled octopus and
Gilthead Bream were cooked to perfection and they prepared small portions
of anything on the menu for children.

Venetsiana - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Superb food, a friendly relaxed atmosphere and great genuine service. This
place is a must, it is situated off the main strip up past the red lion (but don't let
that put you off). Six of us ate here twice during the 2 weeks we were there,
but we wish we had eaten there more often, all our meals were fantastic. Don't
miss out.
