We were on the “Slow Lee Day”! Many thanks to Malcolm for a great day and
Saria for her invaluable knowledge of the island. Highly recommend this
excursion for all. Some magnificent views of the island that you would not

The best bar in Kalamaki by miles... the staff as well as the entertainers are all friendly, funny and talented - don't be put off by the ice throwing! Thanks to everyone at Down Under for making our holiday 10 /10 !
Dionysis and Tonia Studios - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)
The Dionysis and Tonia apartments are fantastic - very clean and well maintained with thanks to Dennis, Yannis and their family! Fans can be hired behind the bar, safety deposit boxes are available in the rooms. The rooms and bins are all cleaned regulary... Dennis and Yannis made us all so welcome in the bar as did the other guests, many of who were regulars. The pool and bar are fantastic and the service and food is second to none - top place and top people - can't wait to go back again soon!

Michaelos - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)
This has to be the best restaurant in Kalamaki, probably in all of Zakynthos. The staff are all very friendly and the food is fantastic, not to mention the best value for money! Ten out of Ten!
Blue Caves and Shipwreck Cruise - (Zante Excursions)
The blue caves are fantastic - I've visited them 3 times now.... If you hire a car then its well worth travelling up to the lighthouse at the top of the Island and taking a boat from there as its cheaper than all the others but best of all the tour guides are wonderful - they tell you everything about the caves and let you swim inside the caves (which not all of them do!) as well as in a larger cove - also have small glass bottomed boat and speak good english - Ten out of ten!
Doctors Surgery - (Doctors/Chemists in Zante)
Very poor service, the female chemist that served me was rude (she's well known for this!) and her knowledge of basic mosquito treatments was dire - I had an allergic reaction to a bite and needed an injection yet was sold nettle rash cream! Eurosky car hire recommended the chemist in Laganas (opposite MacDonalds) and they were very helpful, referring me to the doctor!
