Georgia 11 is in a great location for easy access to everything in Tsilivi. But far enough out of the main town to stay a bit greek. The main town even has MacDonalds now.
Safety deposit boxes and a lovely pool are right next door.
The cleaner comes just twice a week, she only cleans bathroom and leaves towels. It is the first time in Greece that the cleaner has not made the beds etc in my experience.
We did have trouble with a rather nasty smell coming from the drain in the bathroom floor and the only solution they had was to tape it over, so then we had no smell but a flood every time the shower was used.
Do not see much of the rep if you stay in Georgia 11.
Overall not bad at all though.
Bit noisy at night from the bar over the road.
Third time in Tsilivi and this is still the best bar around. Thanks Kostas, Tassos, Spiros, Nikos, Jim, Anna, and Jayne. Once more a fantastic holiday.
The cocktails are the very best.
I am going to Alykes in the summer and have read that there are no local taxi services. Can anyone confirm this as I was hoping to get a taxi to Tsillivi at some point. Thanks
This was our first visit to Alykes. The apartments were right by the beach and near to the Paradise Pool and bar, which made the location good. The only down side was having to walk along the rather smelly salt lakes to get to the town. The family live on site at Sydney house, and make loads of noise from the moment they get up til the time they go to bed, which is never before midnight. Linen was not changed in the week that we were there. And another big minus was the fact that you had to walk through part of the family kitchen to get to the apartment if you stay on the top level of the apartments. Not the best place and we will not be returning to these apartments. (Beach house next door seemed really luxurious in comparison when we looked around an apartment there)!!
