Navagio Shipwreck Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Jennifer N

We really enjoyed our trip to the shipwreck, but you're really not alone on this beach! Quite a few tour ships were in the cove at the same time so it does tend to get quite busy. The water was an amazing blue colour but very, very cold and it got deep very quickly. The beach is full of chalky pebbles so some parts are hard to walk on. The shipwreck is now totally covered in unnecessary graffiti and we saw several morons photographing their handiwork - total idiots.

Ariadne - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Ariadne just last week. There was no pressure at the entrance (which was unusual!) and the restaurant was not too busy. The chicken souvlaki was lovely although not a lot of it. Would recommend it to those visiting Tsilivi this year.

Camelot - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

I totally agree with the previous comment! We walked past the Camelot every night for the very reason - the guy at the entrance harasses every tourist who walks past - "hello, you want a romantic table?" etc etc...walk on up the road to somewhere much better.

Passage To India - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

I was a bit dubious about going here. I mean, I'm in Greece and I'm having a curry! But so glad we went there, it was really delicious and the staff were very friendly. We didn't gorge and order too much so we actually finished everything. The nan bread tasted a bit doughy but we scoffed it nevertheless!

Pieros - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

We've just returned from Tsilivi and ate twice at Piero's. On the first night I decided to have something un-Greek so plumped for pasta with pesto sauce while my boyfriend had chicken fajitas. I have to say he made the best choice. We went back the next night and had chicken and beef fajitas and they were delicious. Try the pistachio ice cream too and the amaretto coffee. Busy but not rushed and the service was excellent.

Tsilivi Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

We loved it! I'd never been on a jet ski before so was a bit nervous as I watched a young girl and her brother venture out before us. It was a bit choppy but there was plenty of safety instructions before you go out. My boyfriend had done this before so I felt I was in safe hands! The water was fairly choppy so this is a real test of skill rather than pure speed. I had a fantastic time, so much that we went back for more a few days later. We got the really fast machine - don't know what it's called but it was the purple and gold one. See if you can get it!!
