We have just come back from kalamaki, we stayed at the tonia and dionysis studios and it was great, basic but clean and tidy. Lots of good places to eat, Mermaids was about the best we found. Walked into Lagana a few times along the beach, boat trip was dissapointing as we had to turn back just after smugglers cove as the sea was too choppy. So we didnt get all around the island. Nice place, lovely friendly people and nice scenery. Word of warning the cash point in kalamaki was never working!!!

we have just come back from dionysis, and there was certainly a safety deposit box in our room, basic but very clean and well run, the bar and pool are ace,and everyone is very friendly. Dennis was ace!!!!He likes his football!!!Lots of good places to eat, Mermaids was great they give u loads of chips. The location was good and the walk to lagana took about half to three quarters of an hour along the beach, dont walk along the road!!! its a nightmare. Beach at Kalamaki was a bit dissapointing but the pool made up for it at the apartments.Parts of the beach were ok but we were there at the very start of the season so maybe it gets cleaned up a bit when its busier. I would certainly go to Kalamaki again though would think twice about the boat trip around the island, Smugglers cove is a must tho just to see the colour of the water its sooooooo blue, so maybe the half trip would be better. We thoughrougly enjoyed it and would go again at the drop of a hat.
