Stayed at Akis in 2002 and they had fridges in the room enjoyed it very much as well great resort especially if you dont like too much nightlife just great restaurants and nice people.

We are going to the Alikanas beach village in May and are taking an 11 month old baby can anyone tell me who has stayed here before whether the fridges have a freezer compartment with them, or if anyone has any contact details for the hotel ie a web site address or email address.

The one listed previously by another person is for a different complex.

I used the website which was great, maybe you can answer another question, I noticed what you also said re: pushchairs on hire, we are taking our own but were a little worried about the quality of cots after what you said, have you any experience of using one of their own cots?

where is the vine leaf restaraunt we were out in Alikes 2 years ago but dont recall it. Were coming back in May 2004 and would like to know where it is?

This restraunt was very average - the food was ok but the staff werent that friendly and where we sat we clearly saw the kitchen staff smoking whilst cooking the meals in the kitchen which I find disgusting despite being a smoker myself. I realise they dont have the same laws as we do but this was enough to put us off going again.

Like the dionisos basic hygiene put us off after a really good 1st visit. we clearly saw a kitchen staff member come out and feed the horse that carries so many people with his hands then go back into the kitchen wipe his hands on a towelk then continue to prepare food without washing them. maybe were a bit fussy but that isnt good in our opinion. However we all had good meals here on the 1st visit but ironically the second we felt it was not so good.

Excellent all round I cant understand why it is given 4 out of 10 great food good friendly service and the cleanest presented restaraunt in Alykes. Much better than many of cafe style eating houses around this is much more classy but inexpensive.

This was our favourite place in Alykes and Alikanas, Every meal superb whether you have local greek dishes or other fayre. The fact that it is full every night tells its own story as well. clean and a lovely setting overlooking the river midway between alykes and alykanas, without doubt the best.
