We have been going to Zakynthos every year for about 10 and always try to stay in the Beach House. We came last year with all the family and Spiros and Vicky made us very welcome and didnt bat an eyelid at Simon's red and white hair do (it was middle of World Cup). To answer previous question about Paradise Pool. It is magical, very clean, good kids area, nice sunbeds, friendly staff (especially Christo). The full english breakfast is the best! Just to let you know Spiros and Vicky we are due back on 3rd July, and one of us will be celebrating a big birthday on the 6th so get the cocktail shaker ready!! Dear Vicky and Spyros, just sobered up from our holiday in May, wow what lovely weather we had. Can you please order some more sunshine for us all on 3rd July, Simon still worried that I have planned something drastic for his birthday on 6th July, however we do intend to spend it in the best bar in Alykes THE VIRAGO BAR!!! Hi Lyndsay, you have made a great choice of apartments, the best along with the Beach House in Alykes and a nice friendly place to stay, with great friendly people, Marietta, Spyros, Spyros and Vicky and Dimitri to look after you. I am going to the Beach House in May but always spend the days lazing around the pool. If you want to email me you can do its suelumsden@aol.com if you want any more info, tips or advice. Well it is a very quiet area, but the pool is lovely and you are 5 steps away from a very safe beach.  The pool bar is great for snacks and drinks and there is an open air pool table.  A few minutes walk brings you into the centre of Alykes where there are shops and nice restaurants.  If you need any further info please email me.  You have probably booked one of the nicest apartments in Alykes in my view and you will not be disappointed.  It is family run and all very friendly and laid back.
