Manos Grill - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Had an excellent meal for four here on our 2nd night. The service, if you arrived early, was excellent, great bread with olive paste, garlic butter and tzatziki. The souvlaki was just what the doctor had ordered and this restaurant was not the cheapest, but by far the one of the best. Forget about the bell ringer, great gimick anyway. Maria did try her best to accomodate you in whatever way you felf. Marks out of 10, 9 definitely. Only bettered by Zeus restaurant, a 50 yards the other way towards Planos.

Nemesis - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Tried this place on the recommendation of other guests at our hotel. Although the portions were very large indeed and catered for children well, found this place to be over-rated and poorly prepared. The lamb tasted old and the calamari too chewy for my liking. If you want a meal for four with drinks for under 40 euros, then this is the place to be, but a gourmet delight, this is not. Only for the guests that are easily pleased and do not consider food quality to be a main priority on holiday!

Mandarin - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Jeremy L  (06 September 2002)

went to mandarin on the night of our arrival. it was ok, but had to wait nearly 30 minutes before the menu arrived, so try telling the children to stop moaning and fidgeting whilst others were getting their fill. when the menu finally arrived, a pleasant scot waitress tried her very best to help. the mixed starters were good, just as good as at home, although we were all famished after the long trip from the uk. the sweet & sour chicken was… well just sweet and sour chicken, plenty of carrots with it though. the rest of the dishes, egg fried rice and chicken and spring onion and ginger was good. only problem, what do you do with those fortune cookies at the end, eat them and throw them a way, what a waste of time. but when finally the bill arrived, some 2 hours later, the meal was good value for under 45 euros. if you want a decent chinese meal and served food within 5 minutes, try courser in planos, great food, a snotty northern b***h serving you, and mega expensive, not a place to take the family. had to economise on the rice just to keep the bill below 60 euros! … and the same goes for their fortune cookies, what a waste of time!! been better off with a hot towel. …and where were the chopsticks!!
