Cosmopolitan Studios - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

We had whit week here. It was quite noisy up to 3.30 am, music etc was turned down at 12? We did specify a quiet room, but we ended up about 20 metres from the "anytime kareoke" bar (Kosmar). Owner Yannis and wife very friendly, staff were too. Overall had a good time although local tavernas weren't the best (compared to Santorini & Cyprus ). Zante airport chaos would stop us visiting again.

A local told us about this place, a taxi ride out of town but well worth it for genuine Greek setting and food. This was probably the best meal we had in our week in Tsilivi.

I thought this place was very Watford Gap type average, I know that sounds like a Michael Winner comment. But if your pining for good old Blighty and as my Ma would say "I'm not eating that foreign muck" this is the place for you.

Paradise Bar - (Bars in Tsilivi)

we stayed at the apartments adjoining this bar. yannis "keep me busy" was an excellent if homophobic host (he sacked a g*y member of staff this week?). cocktails were the best when made by yannis, stavros cannot remember how to made the same cocktail twice, he should try sleeping. the only hunk there this week was me, and i look like homer simpson. the only "babes" were desperate single mums who fell for stavros (thus no sleep?)
