defo 10/10. gorgeous food and great service.

This for us was the best restraunt for us which gave by far the best food in resort which was so tasty and well prepared. My girlfreind is a veggie who eats fish and found it difficult to find good choice in other places but here she had some Salmon Mare Monte which she said was fantastic. I had a Pork Chop which was with a sauce which was spicy but very tasty( better than indians back home if you do like spicy). This was also the place were I proposed to Kate and she said YES so a double good night there.

We ate at the Papillon for 6 nights of our 7 night stay (only missed one night because we went out with the owner of our accommodation). As a hotelier and chef myself, I can honestly say that this is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in with a large and varied menu of good quality, well prepared food.

Simply the best pizza in Argassi.

We ate here in May 2006 - our second visit to this restaurant as we were there last year. Fabulous food - great setting and great service. We both had chicken dishes, and they were fantastic. Well worth a visit while you're here

We ate at the Papillon twice whilst we were there, only ate there the first time because Ethnics was full. The food was gorgeous  and my partner had pork one night and said it was the best pork he had ever tasted.

If you are going to Argassi you must eat here as it is the best food and great service

Best restuarant in Argassi, we ate here 3 times, it was my birthday while we were away, the staff brought out a cake that my husband had organised and the whole restuarant sang happy birthday, the food was beautiful, service was excellent, staff very efficeint but friendly, you must try this restuarant.

We dined there 6 nights out of 7, it was excellent food, good variety and value for money and the service was efficient though if extremely busy you may have to wait a bit longer but well worth the wait

Never had a bad meal yet!  The food here is excellent, and although you may have a SHORT wait in busier times, the food is well worth it and very good value for money.

We have been to The Papillon several times before on previous holidays, we went one night this holiday (first week in Sept) the food was as nice as we remembered, so we went again..... disaster we had to wait 10 minutes before they even brought us a menu, then it took 1 1/2 hours to get our food...... mine and little girls arrived then 10 minutes later the steak arrived which was tough and chewy.  All in all normally a pleasant evening but not on this occassion.

This was by far the best restuarnt in Argassi we ate here twice in our two week stay.  Both two course meals where nicely presented and tasted beautiful, the service was great besides one waitress who had a atitude to begin with but on our second visit was a bit more polite.  We would highly reccomend the place !

Excellent meals here...ate here three times during stay. We had Steaks on my wifes birthday here and was lovely. Washed down with Rose wine...mmm

We thought this was a marvellous restaurant and it's very popular. An extensive menu, focussing on Italian cuisine, but with all the traditional Greek dishes - the Kleftico is amazing. Good service, friendly staff - highly recommended.

We ate here twice during our holiday and thought it was by far the best restaurant in Argassi.  Was heaving every night regardless of what time it was.  No one outside trying to drag you as they simply don't need to.   Between us we had crepes, steaks, chicken, pasta, garlic prawns, garlic mushrooms (fresh ones- not tinned like everywhere else) and it was lovely. 

Really nice food

ate here three times in our two wk stay.had the fillet steak twice & pizza the other time.i have to say the steak is among the best i've ever tasted.no problems here at all.it certianly does'nt need anyone on the street to drag you in.fantastic. 

The waitresses were incredibly unfreindly, the food was so-so. Was nothing like as nice as Ethnic, for example.

We ate in papillon a few times during our holiday in May this year. The staff are very friendy and we loved their lamb in the Oven. We will be back to sample more later in the year.

the papillon was the best restaurant in argassi!! we have been going their for 4 years and every time the owner and all the staff make you feel really welcome.and on my birthday he brought over a cake and they all sang happy birthday to me!! and the food was gorguz especially the pizza!! c ya next year

Excellent food great choice not to expensive,service great nothing to much trouble.The lamb kelfitko was my favouite and the chicken and mixed souvlaki.

This was definately the best restaurant in the resort!! Couldn't fault the food or the service and George the owner always made us feel welcome.
The pizza from the stone baked oven was just fabulous and my favourite had to be the penne mafiaso! Excellent value for money too!!!

Found the food in here excellent - ate there twice over the two weeks. Service very good and quick. Would recommend it definetly.

We liked this one ! We had a pizza and the penne mafioso, which was absolutely delicious.

We ate here twice on our recent week-long trip to Argassi. Lovely food and wine, good service - we were very impressed. I can recommend the Swordfish Polcini (Swordfish in a white wine sauce with mushrooms) - mouthwatering!

Best restaurant of Zakynthos. Very good food. Very nice service. And the owner is the best. We loved him.

We ate here and found it to be an excellent restaurant, the pizza's were mouthwatering and cooked to perfection in the stone oven. It was also nice not to be left to look at the menu outside before deciding without somebody trying to hassle you inside.

One of our favourites without a doubt. The steak here is out of this world really good grub! The staff are excellent too, the night we were there i had had too much sun that day and felt very faint the staff were so kind to me i would certainly recommned this restaurant to any one wanting an excellent meal, friendly staff and great prices too!! See you next year

Papillon was excellent and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Argassi (we did regularly in the hotel!).

They had real chicken nuggets which pleased my 8 year old daughter no end

we spent 2 weeks in argassi in june 2004, found papillon restaurant after our first week and never ate anywhere else. pasta, pizza better than you can get in italy. service and value for money were unbeatable (25 euros for a family of five with drinks). on our last night the owner reserved us our favourite table. exxcellent.

Ate here for the last 2 days of our holiday. Food was the best we found, amazing steak, and the crepes to start were fantastic (possibly a bit too filling!). The staff were brilliant, very hogh standard all round.

VERY NICE PLACE! THE KIDS LOVED THE CHICKEN NUGGETS. EVERYONE SHOULD EAT THERE AS IT HAS NICE FOOD!

It was the best restaurant in Argassi that we tried.
Lovely food, good service and reasonably priced.
It gets very busy so if you don't get there by 8 you will have to queue. One suggestion for them would be if they had a bar area where you could have a drink while waiting.

We went twice to this restuarant and both times i ate delicious pasta dishes, and my friends highly recommend the pizzas too. Friendly, quick service, nice surroundings and tasty food.

We visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay because we liked the food so much. Service and prices were good. Highly recommended.

This is the place to have pizza's. Try the Chicken with Red Peppers.

Best pizzas in Argassi.Try the bruschetta as a starter. The service was great, you get a better seat the more often you visit!

The best itallian i've had lovely food, great service and cheap. Def have the second starter on the list its like mini pizza's.

First time we went it was excellent, second time the food was cold, we didn't get what we ordered on the menu and there wasn't enough food to fill a mouse. Risky going to Papillon.

The food is gorgeous and very reasonalbe. This was one of our favourite restaurants in Argassi. The service is brilliant and everyone is really friendly. I would definitely recommend going there. There's so much variety on the menu, there's something for everyone.

Ate here on the last night. Top service and food and very polite on asking you in for a meal. Defo worth going to.

Papillon was for sure the best restaurant in Argassi the food was lovely, they did not pull you in off the streets (no need to as it was allways full!) and finally thank God no Chips - why in Zante do you feel the need to serve chips with everything????

This was the best. The staff were friendly, the place was spotless, you could see them cooking. The food was excellent. This was obvious as it was always full and yet the service was anything but slow. Try the Calzone Pizza 'to die for'

Best meal of the holiday! Despite being extremely busy the service was prompt and accurate. Special from the board was cooked to perfection.

This was the only bad meal we had in two weeks. We went because of the reputation and were very disappointed. The service was terrible - felt like they were trying to get us out quickly so that they could use the table again. Our Main Courses were put on the table before we were half way through our starters and the bill came before we asked for it. The portions were too small as well, we were still hungry when we left.

We ate here twice. Food was good, service also considering the restaurant was full on both nights.

Quite a nice place if a bit "touristy".

August 2002- The service was quick and polite, you could also see the pizza's being cooked. I would recomend the Calzone pizza. I would give this 10/10.

We ate here twice in seven days, it was superb on both occasions. The lamb baked in the clay oven with lemon and garlic potatoes is to die for, especially with a bottle of the local red wine (Callinico)

Went here 1st night. Service a bit slow, but food was nice, greek salds nice and fresh and pizza was tasty. Safe option but nothing special.

Sorry, but I just don't get it. The restaurant's reputation preceded it, and every time we went, it was full. We thought this was telling us something, and so made a beeline for the place one evening. My partner had a chicken dish, and I had a steak. It was, quite simply, average. I dare say pizzas, etc,are their speciality, but there was little imagination displayed in any dish outside of that narrow menu.

A good place to eat the service was nice and friendly and the food as good as any in the resort. I especially enjoyed the mussels as a starter. If you like your pasta and Italian dishes I definately recommend here.

The food here was excellent & we made a point of coming here on our last night. The Giant Shrimps in sauce were fantastic. The service here was brilliant & they gave the children pencils & paper, so they didn't get bored. We ordered orange juice for my little boy, they had run out of it, but they sent someone out to the shops to get some specially for him, which I thought was really good of them. Do not miss going to eat here.

Try the beef in maderia wine scrumtious to say the least, pizszas out of this world all freshly cooked.

An excellent restaurant, the food was constantly good, superb pizzas, and the pasta yummy. The family who own it really care about the quality of the food. My partner is a veggi, she had no problems with the food in this restaurant. We used this more than any other place in town, what more can I say.

We went in aug.2000.Ended up eating here every night in the last week of the holiday-the pizzas are to die for.Pity they cannot provide long distance take-away!!Great service and lovely restaurant-Thanx!!!!!

What can I say one of the best restaurants in Argassi, not to be missed. Food excellent, you are well looked after, staff are all friendly.

of course i am going to say how fantastic this restaurant was as i worked there summer 2001 - i was one of the english dessert waitress's!!!! honestly though the food is fantasic, price very good and well the staff - what can i say these guys are the best - the boss sakis is the best in argassi - he certainly looks after his staff and customers...sakis the chef is excellant - he loves cooking the food so much!!!! everyone else is also excellant - going back to work there next summer - so will hopefully see you there!!! lots of love jo from york xx
