Beach House

Please can someone tell me whether the beach house has air con or not?

 Can someone please help.... I have been trying to book the 2 bedroom apartment in Beach House 2 for next summer (July/August 2010). I know it's there,  because we've stopped in it twice. Yet somebody should try telling this to Thomas Cook. I have visited the TC website, according to that they don't even travel to Alykes. Visited two local travel agents (one a TC shop) and they say they can't find it ??? Can anybody help by letting me know the best way to book a family holiday for 2010 to the Beach House ??  I will sure need one after all this hassle !!

Hi Lisa, Beach House could be fully booked, best if you ring TC.

I have looked on Thomas Cook's website and they don't even go to Alykes let alone Beach House ?

 Hello hope this helps you. You can book BH1 there has been some confusion, this is what Vikki wrote on JZ Forum.

What has happened, i tried to book a stay at beach house and was told by manos they no longer have the beach house. i was very disapointed as i wanted to go there next year to celebrate my upcoming birthday,( the sort that end s with a 0) can some one let me know. Also Vicki and Sprios congradulations on the birth of your daughter. My son Toby was always asking about what you were having. I thought you would like to see some pictures that i took last year

Does anyone have contact details for the owners of the beach house?

 Hi , all the rooms at BH1 have a sea view, there are only 8 studios all facing the sea. Have  a great time , we are goung in 3 weeks time for our 13th year.

 Hi Mandy, you can book the beach house with Manos. There are 8 rooms holding 2 people each in BH1 and 4 rooms holdiny 2/3 in Beach House 2 plus a family apartment probably sleps 4/5 not sure. Hope this helps.

 Hi Samantha, they are about a 15 minute walk away from each other. How well do you know Alykes? The Beach House is at the far end of town past the salt flats opposite The Apollo, and the Koukanaria is up the hill from the Relax restaurant in the cente of town. Hope this helps.

Can any one help us my sister is staying at the koukounarias apartments next year we want to stay at the Beach House does any one know how far they are from each other. If not can you tell us where they are. Thanks Sam

hi i had a good time in zante and it was really relaxing where we stayed. we made loads of friends and really enjoyed it.just saying hi to vicki and spiros. see you all in july 2007.

 Hi Michael, Beach House 1 only has a kettle, so bring your own toaster, no place either to hire one that I know of. However Paradise Pool /apartments  next door has great snack bar where you can get  a great breakfast and snacks all day.

Hi can anyone tell me please if Beach House 1 in Alykes has kettle toaster iron etc.. or can we hire or do we need to bring?. Ta Michael

hi there really looking forward to my visit 12th oct till the 26th got the car arrange fab i am hoping you maybe able to get me into beach house 1 on my second week as my mum is 72 and this will be her last trip abroad due to health and fittness and her only wish is to sit and watch the sea rolling in and beach house one is her dream so if you can help great if not no prob we still have a good holiday

well i am bringing my mum over to beach house ii on oct 12th was trying to get beach house one with full see view as this is my mum only wish so i hope we can have the second week there for her

 Hi Yes they do have safety boxes, you pay for the key at The Virago Bar. Best Bar in the whole of Alykes!!  Vikki & Spiros will make you very welcome. Have  a great honeymoon.

reference your queery regarding Beach House 2. Stayed there last October, and cannot fault it. Clean, good beds,secure, and good facilities. Would recommend Beach House 1 or 2 to anybody. See you all 11.5.06.

Hi, There are 8 studios in BH1. The campsite is very quiet and rarely used . You will find BH1 to be a great base for a very relaxing holiday. The Virago bar is a really great place to go to in the evenings and only a few steps away from BH1. Have a great holiday, we'll be back  there in Sept.

Hi - i want to book beach house 1 for next year, manos only fly from stansted, which other tour operators book out the beach house, as i am trying to get a flight from luton? Can we book direct with the apartment owners?

  Hi Tracey, Vikki has confirmed that the pillows at BH2  are 100% polyester. Have a great holiday. You will love it there, great location and The Virago Bar is a really nice place to have  a drink in.

i really do need to know about these pillows being feather or not please help do i need to bring mine as i am allergic to feathers to quite a severe degree

i would like to know if the pillows in beach house 2 are of the feather kind as i am highly allergic to feathers. we are there on 3 august cant wait heard so much about it

Add your commen  On and off this will be our twentieth year at the Beach House(1). This year, our youngest and her family are coming with us in October. We are bound for B.H.2. It will mean an invigorating walk to the beach every day of well over 20 yards, but I,ll have to put up with that!  for anybody contemplating going, the accomodation is first class, Mr.and Mrs. Petrinou are a delight, and Vickie and Spiros, well, what can we say? Always there, always helpful, and excellent hosts. It is quite delightful to sit in the Virago and watch the world go by. I know there are other bars etc. in Alykes, but stick to the best, and you ain't gonna go wrong. I often sit on the beach and think "I'd love to go to Kefalonia" but I know that if I am there, I would be busting to get back to Alykes. See you in October.

 Hi, re your question re towels, bath towels are supplied but not Beach Towels. If you like  big fluffy bath towels like I do I usually take my owm. Have a great holiday dot

Both Beach Houses are available through Manos Holidays. They will be able to tell you of availability.

We have stayed at the Beach House before and would love to find out if there is any availability during September 2004??

There are sunloungers for hire from Maria at the beach outside the Sydney House which is right next door to the Beach House. They cost around 5 euro per day per pair.

I am staying at Beach House 2 in August & wondered if anyone could tell me if there are sunloungers for hire on the beach outside? I can't really tell from the pics in the brochure

In answer to your query about Beach House II: all the rooms have a partial seaview. This means that you have to turn your head to the left slightly in order to see the sea! Although not comparable to the full on -fells like you are actually still on the beach whilst sitting on the balcony- feeling of Beach House I's sea views, the rooms in BH II are of a much higher spec inside. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay here. We look forward to meeting you in the Virago.

Just back from Alykes we stayed in beach house 2 they are right near the beach its the second time we have stayed there, we will always stay there now they are brilliant.

Hi there, I have never booked over the internet or with Manos before and it will be the first time abroad for me without parents. Im just a little precausious and would like to know what its like "island in general" and if you think its a good place for my first holiday??

This is the place for a perfect laid back holiday. The owners, Vikki,
Spiros & family could not be more friendly & helpful. I don't want to
say much more as there won't be any places left when I want to book
again. All I will say is it's brilliant if you want a chilled out holiday with superb people and a wonderful location this is the place to go.

JUST COME BACK FROM THE BEACH HOUSE WONDERFULL IS THE ONLY WORD TO DESCRIBE THE APARTMENTS POSITION THE APTS ARE VERY BASIC BUT THE LOCATION IS THE BEST WE HAVE EVER FOUND.
FANS CAN BE HIRED FROM THE VIARGO BAR AND THE SYDNEY HOUSE NEXT DOOR.SAFES CAN BE HIRED AT THE PARADISE APTS NEXT DOOR AND THE ASTORIA HOTEL ON THE MAIN ROAD.WE WILL BE BACK AS SOON AS WE CAN

Beach House 1 are approx 20yds from the beach and have uninterupted views of the beach and sea.

Superb. Stayed there many times.

We stayed at beach house 2 apts oct 2002 & they are exellent , we have now booked for 2004.

I have just booked the Beach House1 apartments for June 2004, can anyone one tell me if they all have a sea view.
